Hey Jingles! In Finland, boys need to attend to the army in the year they turn 19. And this year is my lucky year. I am going to army next monday D: so im kinda scared and nervous, because only tip I got from my dad was never to be the last or the first. It lasts half a year or full year. It depends on your physicality and mentality. Im kinda athlety guy so I guess I am there for the full year and the army service happens to be honor in my family, so I dont want it to be complete fail. Any more detailed tips (than my dads) you could offer? I am asking this from you because you have made career in the navy. Kiitos! Thank you! :)

You should visit new york city, there is an aircraft carrier museum about WWII, Vientam, etc. There is an sr-71 prototype, an f9f, and there is an area in the back where they repair the planes. There is also a submarine museum right next to it, but the submarine is rather small. You can go inside the aircraft carrier and see the planes and decorations inside of it.

The cutural horror! :s That "bahama mama" looks a lot like "rookworst" wich means smoke-sausage so no wonder why it tastes "smoky" and often eaten with mustard wich would explain the "mustard aftertaste" as you put it. They sure know how to feed people in the USA, that is for sure.. Been there several times aswell and all I did was order small portions of everything as even medium size stuff is usually big enough to feed a whole family, lol..

A jummi German sundaylunch: Wienerschnitzel Potatosalat(Kartoffelsalat) (Schwäbische Version) Chips(Pommes Frites) sometimes a salatblade (Salatteller) Or something else Greats from Germany!!

I thought Schmidt's was just meh, not overly impressed with it. There's a better German Restaurant in Hagerstown, MD called the Schmankerl Stube.

Schmidt's....The BEST Sauerkraut in the world! This is one of many reasons I'm thankful to live in Columbus. There are many hidden culinary gems here in "cowtown" and many things to do and see. I should be drawing a paycheck from the chamber of commerce!
