If you are trying to use GNS3 VM running VMWare you can find multiple problems. In this video I'll show you how to fix 3 VTx Issues! #MikrotikTutorial #GNS3OnVmware #VTxGNS3 networking
Your tutorials are exceptional Wilmer! Spent the day trying to follow your video on installing and running Mikrotik RouterOS on VMWare Player. I hit a snag which I've spent the last 7 hours trying to resolve, with no luck. I'm at the point of chucking it all and giving up :( The issue is as follows: I downloaded the CHR image chr-6.49.15.img during your steps on downloading the raw file. Gave it a name like you did, and went back to the project. When I emulated what you did in adding the 3 routers of the new router node to the project, I get the following Pop-Up: Hardware acceleration can only be used with the following Qemu executables: qemu-system-x86_64, qemu-system-i386, qemu-kvm. The routers refuse to start. I've tried 2 different laptops, one with Win 11 Pro and 8 gigs of RAM, and this current unit with Win10, i7 and 32 gigs of memory. I'm at my wits end. Please help!!!
Finally, a Chanel that explains Mikrotik in a professional way, great videos, continue the good work, you will have a lot of success because this information about both Mikrotik OSs doesn't exist anyplace else.
Thank you, Sir. I got an excellent answer from you regarding this issue. Please try to add more tutorials. You are very professional !!! Congratulations !!!
