The Buick GNX is the top of the line Grand National. With only 547 made, this turbo charged V6 is truly a special car. And while WCC is known for it's creative creations, sometimes restoring things back to factory is the way to go. That's what we did with one customers beloved GNX - restored it so it looks like it came straight from the factory.

That Watts Linkage rear suspension with torque arm & panhard bar was awesome. Even FoMoCo used it on their Panther Platform(Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, Town Car).

You could make it look better than factory if you did "Perfect panel fitment" which is a show car thing where you fill all the panel gaps with filler then block/ level it so you can cut in perfect new gaps with a cut off wheel. Its definitely over the top but why not for a GNX if you have the time/ money.

biggest problem i find wet sanding a freshly painted gloss black car is the the black goes matt and it's so hard to get it stay shiny, sure is alot of work.

Wouldn’t it have been better just to leave the factory paint and try to correct it? Stripping it down and removing all the windows would be an issue of value. Most guys are looking for original.

get me new wheels and tires.. after Bondo dust all over them rims, and tires I'm good you can keep them wheels.... don't try cleaning them with that lacquer thinner shit .
