Saints Row 2023 is basically "How do you do fellow kids?" the game.

It is a rapid slide from demanding tolerance to demanding acceptance and then to demanding submission.

*I remember when the teaser was first leaked a nearly a year before the game, All I asked on Twitter was "So is this a follow up to the 2nd game" as they said they were "going back to the roots" then someone from the team replied to me curtly with "This game is not for you" Well! It would seem the game is not for anyone as it sold terribly, its almost like basing your games protagonists with the personality of an average outraged Twitter user is a bad business move. SHOCKER!!!*

People sad of the demise of Studios that existed for a long time, knowing that these Studios suffered massive change in staff that they barely resembled their initial form.

There's something really reasuring and empowering in watching someone who has more or less been handed most of the financially powerful and largest asset bases completely fuck it up when it is seemingly impossible to fail and yet still appears to be managing it all while being the least attractive or charasmatic person possible. I have a Retroid Pocket 3+ handheld with a 512GB micro-SD card in it that stores my ROM collection. It emulates literally everything from the 80s/90s arcade machines to 8/16/32/64-bit consoles right up to NDS/3DS, PS1, N64, Gamecube, Wii, and even PS2 titles. Since I was deployed to various shltholes for half my life I've been using it to "catch up" on everything I missed back then. I haven't felt the need to buy a new game in years, preferring my retro handhelds and "The Classics".

These devs were so cool back in the day - they were the underdogs who bucked against the system and rose above with real ambition and heart behind their titles. Red Faction Guerilla was incredible when it came out, still holds up today. It's so disappointing to see what happened to them.
