Director's Note:
If I had to pick one word to sum up this entire process it would be team. This entire team has worked unbelievably hard the past 8 weeks to help get this show ready for this moment. We have a truly amazing group here at UYT, something rarely seen in theatre, period. When I say team I am talking about all the parents who so willingly and graciously dedicated their time to building sets, creating props, selling tickets and merchandise, painting and so much more. I'm talking about out production team who has worked so hard to put the vision together and get it on the stage. I am talking about all the donors who believe in what we are creating here in our community. I am talking about you, the audience member who comes out and supports us, and of course I am talking about this cast who inspires and pushes me to be the best director and human being I can. This show is truly more than just a "show." This show came together because of an incredibly passionate and dedicated group who want to express themselves, believe in the UYT mission, love their kids, and want to leave a lasting impact on their community. This show is about our UYT team. So, at this time all I can say is thank you. Thank you to all the passionate UYT parents and volunteers for pouring yourself into this show as much as I have. Thank you to this production team for helping bring my vision to life and being there each and every step of the way. Thank you to my family for the endless love, support, advice and belief. Thank you to you our audience for your support of UYT, our community and EVERY kid in it. Lastly thank you to my cast who push me, inspire me and remind me every day why I do what I do. There are never enough words, but thank you for being a part of this moment and making it possible. It wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you and enjoy the show!
