Okay think of it like this, a hero is placed in an extremely high standard and if the hero fucks up they get hated for it. Anti-Heros are not placed in that high standard so they can do what they want without being shit on by the people.

Krillin is probably liked more because despite them being from the same era of Dragon Ball Krillin is just more nostalgic than Yamcha.

@@xSwiftx4 Well, Krillin is also much more useful. -He killed three Saibamen while Yamcha died to one. -He died on Namek but his death is the reason we got Super Saiyan in all its glory as his death sent Goku over the edge. -Krillin's the perfect friend. Loyal, supportive, heck, Goku chose him for the Tournament of Power. If somebody is trusting you to help save the universe you're definitely special to them. -He'll always fight if needed despite his initial fear or lack of power. He knows he isn't even close to being the best but he gives it his all anyway. Krillin is just more impressive than Yamcha on many levels. I personally can respect Krillin because tbh, he's a shining but realistic example of the best of humanity. Not perfect but he has the heart of a hero.
