I wouldn't even call it eccentric. He's just doing whatever he wants, basically how most of us would probably be in our own ways if we weren't thoroughly indoctrinated.

@@bens3767 also, eccentric isn’t a bad label. Think that’s your negative bias projecting that. Look at Kramer from Seinfeld. V eccentric but one of the best sitcom characters ever
