What is the point of the higher RPM springs? gotta rev it to the moon to get any movement... ive got a set on the way, cant wait to swap out the clutch springs then ill mess with gearing.

@@JChurchua the higher rpm clutch springs are for guys that run ridiculously tall gearing for insane top speed because if the clutch come in too soon it will bog the motor down and wont hit its powerband. Also they are good for guys with heavily ported engines that make very little torque down low and idle very fast, they have a purpose just not for what your doing you will be much happier with a lower rpm clutch spring.

@@briang4470 Great to hear. I was pretty well convinced that was the case, so i like the verification from you. If there are any thing in particular you'd like to see from this GTR let me know! Trying to make as much content as I can.

@@JChurchua I would like to see what kind of top speed and performance you can get out of it, you know simple stuff like change the gearing, carb and tuning and maybe an exhaust to see what it's got in it.

@@briang4470 very good. That should be exactly what i have planned to show! but this will be focused on getting it set for slowspeed offroad use, higher gear and knobby tires with yellow springs should be good to start with.

I agree, im not a fan of the yellow springs either though. They rev relatively high to get going so i stick with the "clutch saver" springs. Running 8/72 right now, hitting right at 40mph flat ground. For the GTR thats plenty; In the future I'll get a GSR46R for higher speeds[or maybe just a dirtbike...] I prefer 7/72 for slightly quicker take off, power range is about 17MPH+ the 8 tooth bogs pretty good to about 22mph or so.(if that makes sense) Im ready to go 6/82 or whatever and take it on some trails offroad. Just been lazy swaping everything over, fixing the rear brake and putting the knobby tires on.

Have you noticed this, Last week the GTR was $1600 on Goped website(out of stock though) It is still out of stock, but is now listed for $1839.99!!!!! $240 increase!!

problem with battery is that they are expensive to replace.
