also how would you go about keeping all those fuses/cables from getting in the way of the actual accelertor pedal when you push it down? Where do you put it? Also, how long is the cable you think? could it just fit snuggly under the mat?
The Alpha Romeros & most Stellantis like the Jeep Cherokees, Compass, & Renegade, equipped with the ZF9 transmission have an delayed sensor in the pedal. This slows acceleration from a roll drastically and even brake boosting it limits time between pedal/TPS/transmission response, the madness autoworks TCU flash helps allow quicker & greater torque application when combined with go pedal, your permitted throttle response improves & lag response decreased. Also Ford Raptor forum has shown improved 0-60 & 5-60mph times due to these factors. I have seen videos of others testing just go pedal and getting diminished results due to the order of testing. This is because they do back to back acceleration runs without cool downs and the hotter engine as well as not using the exact same slope % road results in slower times once they finally test the product. If done correctly with proper cool down & exact same level road the results are astonishing.
The accelerator pedals on most cars have a built in lag meaning there is a noticeable gap between the resting pedal and the actual point when the throttle opens. This gap is measured by as much as 1/2 inch after you depress the gas pedal. I was able to eliminate this gap with some adjustments. This gap if compared to carbureted cars is like a loose accelerator cable if you know what I mean. So I am not saying or suggesting that you do the adjustments. I'm just letting you know what I did to my car.
I tried many different combinations and finally just decided to use the yellow (sport mode) with no other leds. It reduced the canon or slingshot effect without reducing the driving fun. Maybe I'm getting old. How about you?
I have this and I’m still wondering if it really makes a difference? I don’t notice much of anything with better mileage on eco unfortunately! What about you?
Can someone answer this question for me on madness auto works website the third top light is ECO which says (This mode is designed for stop-and-go city traffic.This mode will improve lower end torque and optimize fuel consumption) yet when you have the go pedal app it is called race mode and I’ve heard that’s the best and fastest mode but I’ve also heard the second top light is the best one which is sport + and on madness website it says (This mode improves your throttle response and optimizes your fuel consumption across RPM range. Perfect for merging and overtaking) I’m pretty much wondering which one is the best or what’s the difference between them
TUJAY 2jz everything done to the car is muffler delete, resonator delete, blow off valve, go pedal, & soon the jb4 will be put back in and set to map 1
TUJAY 2jz the jb4 was actually uninstalled but we are gonna put it back in. we had some confusion on it, and ended up talking to the jb4 company and they cleared everything up for us. it will be put back in this week:)
we’re adding the jb4 back in & hoping the track is open this weekend to give y’all numbers on the car! stock it hit 13.9. we’re hoping to be low 13, high 12 w all the mods
