Starting from hodge rd the trails get good going to slash x no matter which way you take really. I like to avoid the offroad car roads if possible and stay in the single track which is mostly in the hills. The owners at slash x are awesome too. I remember a ride where we drank and ate there and took off and my counter shaft seal failed like a mile out. The owner of slash x drove his raptor over and picked me up and brought me back to slash x. Good people

Lived in the High Desert now for 45 yrs, cool to see you riding out here. Fun fact from a contractor buddy I learned recently Word has it that Silver Lakes is or has an active Swinger’s community. Yes, l ride out there almost every week. My 250 2 stroke has to be topped off to get there and back safely without running out of gas. I start out by Bell Mountain. It's a boring ride , l have a loop out there about 20 miles. I stop once and relax under a big Joshua tree.
Man from Silverlakes to Slash X , that has to be more than 30 miles. It's 20+ miles from Bell Mountain. I ride out in that area every week. My Niece lives in Silverlakes .
You guys get it good over there. Over the pond in the uk all we have to do is start the bike and either some crack head trys to nick it or your done for being a public newsence. Tracks are closing due to "noise" pollution, and if wer found riding on the road, we lose our driving licences. Jealous would be an understatement 😆. 🤘

This looks so fun! I'd like to be able to motorbike trails like this and somehow take my MTB with me. Stop at the MTB trails. Ride the MTB, then motorbike to the next MTB trails, and ride my MTB, on and on forever, and that'd be my life!
