Jason Lancaster is one of the few true "artists" in music today. Whether its Go Radio, old Mayday, or any of a number of songs he's done guest vocals, his unique voice + his ability to create awesome melodies = mastery. Great job, Guru Lancaster!
He's that type of artist that sounds just as good live as he does on the CD. That's why I love him. And his lyrics are the lyrics that relate to people. Am I sad he left Mayday Parade? Of course. But hey, I'm his fan no matter where he goes. And he's doing great on his own. Keep up the work Jason.
I've always been a mayday fan, but never into who leaves bands and all that. But when I was walking around work one day, Jason was in town on tour and played this on the news station we watch here in Cincinnati to support the album release. I thought it sounded like "That singer that used to be in Mayday" so I looked it up and found them. I've now been a huge Go Radio fan ever since, They're songs have given me something to cover and hopefully make my own way in music one day. Thanks Go Radio.
I think Go Radio is the best thing Jason's ever done. He's so much better by himself, than he was with Mayday. His voice deserves to be left alone, rather than sharing the spotlight. But, Derek sounds great by himself in Mayday, as well.
Okay sure Jason is by far the best musician i've heard in a long time, but get your facts right :) i hate people licking his ass on every video, saying that he is mayday parade he wrote this and that. Yeah sure miserable at best is his but Derek said he wrote some lines in it. One man Derek and Jason wrote together some say and three cheers was written by Jake and Jason some say. Nobody knows this shit lol :) just appriciate the music, don't bring MP into this :P
