I have never talked about it but I was adopted and has a very abusive childhood. later the one that was my best friend was Shane Ewen and he was the best fiddle player ever. You reminded me of him. He and I played the guitar (me) and him the fiddle! Thank you!

I played this a few weeks ago while I was in my daddy's truck taking him somewhere and as SOON as he heard that fiddle playing, He IMMEDIATELY turned it right up lol lol. He'd never heard the OG song before so now, THIS version, is the OG for my daddy lol. He also loved Go rest high on that mountain. You just make songs FEEL different. We find something that we didn't even know we were missing until we heard you and it just feels right🥰🥰

My Papa Jim played the fiddle (also the banjo) He passed away on Good Friday in April of 1976 while he was playing “Turkey in the Straw” at a senior citizen Easter party. Dr said he was dead before he hit the floor. He died doing what he loved to do!! He fell on his fiddle and cracked it. We never had it restored. Maybe we should so we can gift it to someone just learning to play. He would love your music, I definitely do!

She lost her Mom a couple years ago and when its too over bearing I just remind her, her momma doesn't want to look down and see her baby in tears and hurt.. cause she isn't feeling pain anymore...
