Your advice and recommendations; the personal shopping and interaction with the two of you; and the patient camera work - could it get much better! I felt I was there! Kind of annoyed me that she lied about the price! I immediately noticed the price & knew Dr Lori would help her out on it but then when she lied I wished I could go grab it for $3 & give Dr Lori as a gift lol
Dear DR LORI, my Mother loved Gardenias, that's why I knew what flower was on those 4 plates, Karen had them upside down, because the 'bud' balanced the upper part of the plates. The really dark leaves are very Gardenia! Got Gardenias for the corsage for Mom to wear at my wedding, they smelled heavenly, but they are so fragile, if you just touch the petal, it turns brown. Thanks for all you do, I love your channel and share it too!💖
Really like 're-purposing jars and bottles! I use a cluster (uneven numbers) on my back patio plant display on a wrought iron shelving. If I like a bottle, wine, olive oil, liquor....whatever type when they are particularly shapely or color, just a fun look and 'thrifty' use for old and new and all for the cost of the original ingredient! Even can use for a grouping of bottles as a centerpiece featuring one or a few long stem flowers and greenery on an outdoor table, easy and low cost decoration.
Love the green (wine) bottles, I collect from the stuff i use, have a collection of 'colored' glass bottles clusters on my patio plant rack, interesting look and one way to use unusual shapes, colors or just interesting bottles and makes a 'display' just not just plants alone, keeps the eye moving! For sure some would like to buy a group of bottles!

LOL....this made me laugh. When showing the Blue Onion piece, there was a price tag on it that read either $3.00 or $5.00. I couldn't make out which. When Dr. Lori asked how much she was sellling it for, she put her thumb over the price tag and said that it was priced at $10.00. Why I typically don't shop in antique stores. Some are about as bad as used car salesmen in terms of honesty.
Just found some 1898 lithographs from truth co featuring Spanish War content! A few even with teddy r as well. You'll never guess what I paid! Thanks for all ur help dr!

I bought from a family the whole lot of their grand mother's mid century house items, they had stored 1970s, I'm overwhelmed by the amount of the stuff still in the original boxes and still has tags, what do i do to clean it but not remove the value, from jewelry to glass ware, planters, Tupperware, ash trays even bras ,down to wash rags, can u help me get started in the right direction, i can send pictures for u too see if u like

I cringe when I see someone cut up a nice vintage/antique piece and/or coat it with chalk paint. I would try to buy cool stuff like I used to have growing up, but someone would snatch up the affordable piece, put some awful paint on it, and mark it up to be more expensive than new, defeating the whole purpose of me shopping for vintage in a used market. On the other hand, I see people who take new, plainer items, add embellishments and paint, and they get a nice sum for it. THAT is great, but you can't MAKE an antique. It's an abomination.
