Both of these men are exceptional human beings. Roger took the time to talk with my then 9-year old son at the USGP, telling him "You are very fortunate to have a father who takes you to the motocross races".... I was pumped to meet "The Man" and he did me a SOLID with my boy.....
Just stumbled across these videos on youtube. I can't think of anyone in the sport who deserves more respect than Dungey, for "doing the right thing". The dude is unreal. What a role model! Can't wait to watch the rest of these.
I see lot of respect between those two great champions. Ryan is surprisingly very good in those kind of interviews, relaxed, thoughtful, great communicator, good listener. I’m sure I those qualities helped him a lot to be the Cham he is. I like that guy a lot. Respect to both of you! 🙏
I never liked Dungey when he was racing Villipoto but now that I've gotten older and life has started to catch up to me hearing him speak especially on this topic is so influential. I just started a new job 3 weeks ago. This job is the first time since Highschool that I've had to get up at dawn. At first I hated it but now the positives are starting to show. This right here is the ticket to success and healthy living. Going from staying up to 4 and sleeping till 2 and now waking up at 7 and going to bed at 10 has made such a positive impact on my physical and mental well being.
Boy, did I need this! I’m going to try to be more disciplined in my routine related to going to bed earlier. I’ll never make up the sleep I’ve lost being a firefighter and my shift work. Well, maybe when I retire. 🙄
I've heard that Roger could be up until the small hours machining parts 'and still be up early for the next day . A contradiction ? Whatever way he operated 'it worked out.
