Love Adelaine and her makeup in this video is awesome. I am not putting hate here but my only concern that this is for beginners and I assumed she will focus on more beginner-friendly items (affordable such as drugstore). I have the champagne pop by itself. That cost $38 by itself. The jaclyn hill collection price went up in Sephora to over $80. It does look so beautiful and I wished I had my hands on it but she can influence someone who is truly a beginner to go and buy an expensive highlighter right away etc. I watched the Tana video where she talks about how buying an expensive foundation is the most important. I felt the need to buy the MUFE which is great but after trying the Maybelline Fit Me that is way less of the portion cost of the MUFE, I realized you don't need an expensive foundation after all. Like I said, I'm not trying to hate on Adelaine. Any beauty makeup lover will LOVE the products she's using but for a beginner, you don't need a $55 foundation or a $80+ set of highlighter and blush. Beginners should focus on cheaper range of makeup before going to more expensive ones. For brushes, ELF makes awesome affordable brushes as well and found in most stores. For foundation for beginners, I really recommend seeing what foundation color you are in Sephora then using websites such as Findation or finding a makeup guru in RU-vid or a beauty vlogger with the same shade as you and find their drugstore version so you won't have to keep using and returning drugstore foundation. The most important part of buying foundations not only to know your shade but knowing your skin tone. Are you more yellow or red tone? If you are yellow tone and use a pink-tone foundation, you will look grey-ish and too yellow if you are red tone buying yellow tone. To know, look at your veins. If the color is green, then you are yellow. I believe that if the color is blue then you are pink-tone. Look at the foundation and see if it looks more pink or yellow tone.
