I remember seeing those around the Metrolink System. I remember Seeing one pass through using a K5LA at a Seven Eleven. Maybe GO could buy Some of Metrolink’s F59s.

One of Metrolink's leased GO locomotives hauled the last commuter train to pass along the section of line before it was briefly cut and a track laid to allow UP to pull Big Boy 4014 back onto home rails.

This is neat actually, I don’t think I ever seen that unit before it was repainted, I never knew this existed lol. Cool to see this interesting part of RR history!

520 was bought by some Mexican rail firm unlike 2816 which just went there on a tour

Why are the trains so short though? Or are GO trains just abnormally long? 😂

GO Trains sport the longest commuter rail trains in North America. In the video is mainly talking about Metrolink, they dont have very long trains compared to GO.
