AND it’s on this playlist you dazzling bastard you! I did not want to say before you aired it Unconscious Collective Fluorostanti Trascendance That break down ((which one!?) “it’s a long way to…..” “uh oh!” ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Damn. Why music like this aint no more? Somewhere in open space, sky full of stars, large campfire, soundsystem and group of friends. What else do you need? No EDM for sure! Im 40 and miss those days...
At Ozora 2023, they had a Flying Rhino (James Monro, Darshan, Slinky Wizard, Green Nuns of the Revolution) night at Pumpui. It was the best night for us during the whole week, and we only ended up at the stage by chance.
Todays Psy-Trance sounds like every single Track is basicly the same. So boring. Eben the parties were better, real parties. Not like today. And no DJs who‘re acting like a monkey on speed behind the desks. But those days‘re over. So sad.
Brings back memories of seeing Slinky Wizard at Atomic Jam in Birmingham UK in the 90s - amazing trance/techno allnighters in the 90s. You may be interested to know that the front man of Green Nuns (Neil Cowley) became a Jazz pianist and formed the acclaimed Neil Cowley trio. He's been a session musician for popular artists as well. He's been working on some experimental sounds during lockdown - for example ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-efnX0MZRNTE.html . Thanks Johan!
Sounds like a horrible ex-husband! You could probably find most of the releases through Discogs marketplace but would take time and money (some of them are quite pricey these days)
@@alixwolfenden1098ooh wow I did not know that of course That is also really interesting to learn Love to hear it I love this label so far missed out on a bit for sure
As far as I can tell...no to be fair though, experience tell me that the good stuff is probably out there somewhere but not easy to find amongst all the noice
@@assorted-trance-techno-acidI can weigh in on my experience so far traveling through the music platforms with RU-vid still being my current favorite the past 2 years it doesn't seem like newer psytrance has the same sound or experience that the newer modern releases I hear from iboga, dacru, the most popular psytrance channels I've found with that said I'd be interested in hearing who all who's been trying to listen and check out all the new stuff versus old Goa like say tropical bleyage. theyre a newer 2000s psytrance group as far as I know, but I find I love their style of mixing very much. I don't know what reasons beyond I hear a lot of trance and fluents and trance itions mixed in with it, but compared how I feel about listening to the album released as a single, that has static on it? It's much better than today's psytrance average releases but as a whole current day psytrance doesn't compare to the old mid '90s goa trance, from Infinity project tip records, rhino, all the ones I like to come back here and praise Johann for uploading and sharing in the highest quality with the best transitions and mixing. 😊 One argument I've heard is that the newest modern music doesn't use any analog, but I don't know that to be completely factual. So, it'd be interesting to know all the varieties in why some modern psytrance sounds good vs not, obv tastes different and change too, and why some of us just prefer the mid-90s Goa from a lot of these specific labels. At the end of the day I guess I could add once more that I feel like this compares to what Dave the drummer has done for harder acid techno He's a great artist in that vein but I don't love that whole vein for same reasons I don't love all psytrance at all. Anyway let's hear it for some amazing music and the interesting thought provoking thoughts and feelings it can inspire ❤
