I started working with Joe Rogers when he was very young and quite out of shape. We worked tirelessly together on the ice, and off the ice on his fitness and his nutrition.
He was one of my first Mentor Students and had a successful AAA career, Junior career, and received a full scholarship to Notre Dame Division I where he graduated with a financial degree.
Joe Rogers was born without a properly formed hand and still find a way to beat all odds to earn a full ride. It should give inspiration to every goalie out there that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
