Agreed... Very easily one of the top 3 goals of the tournament. And also the one where he passes against Dutch. These above 2 goals have to be in any top ten list of 2022 And I agree that goal against Mexico was the driving force to win the world cup. That goal alone gave the confidence, energy, belief and strength. So on this basis to me that was the goal of the tournament.

In terms of making my jaw drop, Japan’s second goal bs Spain was definitely the one that got me the most shocked. Wasn’t the most impressive visually but it’s the fact that they kept it in with millimetres to spare
