I am always proud to be aGoa although work over seas as a teacher my heart is in Goa. I am sad to see to what our current politician are doing to our beautiful land.

Great Tribute to our beloved Dr Jack De Sequeira, the father of Goa's Opinion Poll, the result of which kept Goa's identity as a unique State of Incredible country "The Indian Union". Dr Sequeira represented Taleigao, Santa Cruz and Merces constituency for 3 terms spanning from the year 1962 until 1977. I am from Taleigao and I remember people complaining during his contest for the 4th term in 1978 saying Dr Sequeira does not socialize with his constituents, for which he replied: My job is to help make Laws in the Assembly and make sure the Administrative Machinery implements those Laws. It was our ignorance to expect Dr Sequeira to indulge in social functions like birthdays, weddings. This ignorance of our constituency led us to deny Dr Sequeira a 4th term in the Assembly. Here we stand today with dirty Politics full of shame and valueless. Thanks to Santan Viegas for the Lyrics and Xavier De Almeida for honoring Dr Sequeira in a song well delivered.
