Goan Tambdi Bhaji | Red Amaranth Recipe | Tambdi Bhaji recipe | How to make Tambdi Bhaji
Ingredients:
Tambdi Bhaji (1 big bunch) Red Amaranth
Medium Onions 2 nos
Grated Coconut 1/3 cup
Green Chillies 2-3 nos
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Garlic cloves 2-3 nos
How to:
• Wash, clean and finely chop the (Tambdi Bhaji) keep aside
• Heat 3-4 tbsp coconut oil in a pan/kadia
• add crushed garlic and sauté for few seconds
• add chopped onions and sauté until translucent
• add green chillies slitted andsauté for few seconds
• add turmeric and add chopped Red Amaranth (tambdi bhaji)
• cover & cook for 5mins on low heat
• add grated coconut and salt to taste
• give it a good mix and add few splashes of water
• cover & cook for another 5mins on medium heat.
• serve with hot chapaties or as a side dish with rice.
