Was recommended the channel after building a goat deck irl, really excited to get back into the OG headspace and learn the resource management. Currently playing a Chaos Thunder build because I don't own Thousand Eyes or Metamorphosis, plus I'm bad and love the jars and how to manage the gains on it. Congrats on the W, man.
Congrats man! Listening to the analysis here, I do have to say that I think you underrate yourself as a player. I've seen you in other videos/streams saying you couldn't be a top guy but you absolutely can with ideas and the level of thought you're putting in to the game.
I have always personally found that the skilled dark magician was underrated. People look at it almost like a vanilla monster, but when I played it or against it, I found it to be a very good pressure card that was annoying to out.
I can see a legacy booster in YGO's 25th anniver all foil with non-chase-brand-new legacy support consisting of Goat card as Skilled DM, Breaker, D.D.WL. and so on.
That is not the case this deck is very difficult to play and does not have the best CT matchup you might have to experiment with some choices. the secret is to get something that works for you !
Im really impressed at the improvement they have had. I went to one of the first ones and it was a nightmare. a few weeks later they had this one and it was a night and day difference. I hope konami sticks with it.
Excellent analysis and really interesting combination of control/aggro! You don’t often see that in the meta. Control decks are often so passive and this one kinda punches you in the face. Did you ever have issues with lv 1 targets for metamorphosis? I noticed you don’t run too many lv1 monsters outside of the 3 scapegoat.
Bro 😂 where the whales at. You gotme into goat format I've all but stopped playing standard. This format is everything I always loved about yugioh. I hope we can meet up and play at one of these events brother. Thanks for all the great content, tips and tricks. I would be very unhappy chasing the standard dream I it wasn't for you keep up the good work!
Love the deck and profile. Congrats on winning it! Now that multiple tournaments and spice reports have come out since the making of this deck, would you change anything?
Great question in Goat we use the errata’s from that time and we also use turn player priority. Make sure you check out the website card ruling for any card questions you may have also the discord has a ton of experienced players that will be willing to assist
God I hate it when people flick their cards like this so much. At some point their entire decks are basically a package of pringles. Good job winning the playmat tho. :)
