lived Mother Goat and her tiny kid
One sunny morning Mother Goat had to go to the market
leaving her little one with an important task

"Down with the wolf and all his race."
Little did they know
a sly wolf had overheard their secret password
and decided to play a tricky game
As soon as mothergoat disappeared down the winding path
the crafty wolf sneaked up to the house
and wrapped gently on the door

The little kid had keen ears

but being cautious
he wasn't about to trust any stranger
He peeked through a crack in the door
and spotted a shadowy figure
Little kid said,
"Show me a white paw or I won't let you in."
The clever kid knew that wolves didn't have white paws

the wolf had to slink away into the woods
leaving the little house untouched

feeling proud of his quick thinking
the kid called after the disappearing wolf
The wise kid believed in being extra careful
especially when it came to tricky wolves
He knew that two soretties are better than one
Having not just one but two reasons to trust someone
From that day forward,
whenever Mother Goat went to the market
the little kid kept a keen eye on the door
always remembering the importance of being cautious
and having two sureties to stay safe
