I bought 17 high fenced acres that was impassable. Bought 15 goats and turned them loose. Within 2 months it looked like a park. Discovered I had a small pond, two old trucks and an antique tractor I knew nothing about. Goats are amazing at clearing land and a lot of fun to watch.

What an incredible business model. Customers not only pay you but feed your goats as well. Brilliant

I had a friend with approximately 25 goats. He could no longer afford to keep them and was on the verge of getting rid of them. His neighbor offered to keep them for awhile. Within a week, those goats had completely cleared the land they were on. Not only did my friend keep the goats, but he and the neighbor opened their own business renting the goats out for land clearing. The both now own over 200 of them.

This business should have a YT channel. I can so see people wasting their time watching goats clear a field. I just did. 😊

those goats have such a fun life. they get to constantly see new places and snack on a really broad variety of stuff. what a good time for a grazer.

Clearing the land to look like a park, not using any equipment except transportation, having great dogs tend the goats… feeding your goats for free and getting paid… Priceless 😂😂😂😂❤️❤️🥰😎😎

The Goat is the way to go, my father had 2 acres and no one liked cutting the grass and kudzu, So my father purchased goat and he ate all the grass in about 2 weeks. He cleared it so well we had to take him to the neighbors house,

Goats can eat poison ivy and just about everything else. They are the best in the business when it comes to clearing over growth. It dosen't take them long either Sheep are good too , but they won't eat things like poison ivy and other types of weeds. Your lawn will grow back healthier now and more lush also. Much love ❤️ 🙏

Goats are the perfect animal. They are generally calm and very curious. They are focused on green food but have a very short attention span. Since they don’t have upper front teeth, they can’t bite you. Great entertainment.

Those dogs are so amazing. Right away the dog established “these are my goats, tread very carefully around them. Oh and by the way, I am not a pet”. Said all that in one second.

Goats are amazing. I remember them very fondly from my youth. We had a very densely overgrown area of our back yard we wanted to build in.. and my father told me and my brother to clear it and it just wasn't possible. We spent 3 weeks and made almost no progress. It was nasty, hot, dirty work. My brother in law offered to lend us some goats for a few days. 3 of them jokers cleared everything to the dirt in 48 hours. I was absolutely shocked at how efficient they were. With all the greenery and vines gone.. what they left was an easy afternoon of work. I am so very glad to see this form of natural control being used more today.

NICE! We had a goat when I was a little girl, as we had a large meadow which was too thick to cut with a mower. My dad moved it's teather every few days, and the little guy managed to keep it all trimmed in rotation.

Goats cough up their already chewed "cud". That is part of the process of digestion in their 4 part stomach. Excessive coughing could be a serious problem but those coughs were probably the rough material coming back up.

Those Great Pyrenees dogs are wonderful livestock guardian dogs - they treat the goats like their little siblings and are very attentive.

They do this to the hiking trails around my grandparents house at the end of every spring, before summer. First time I saw it as a kid I was like WTF are all these goats doing here?! (I was 10? Younger? Idk) it was sooo fun to sit there and watch them. Those trails are fire hazards in the summer when it all dies and there are so many homes around it. It makes sense. Super cool stuff

We hired a goat wrangler for a house we bought that was over grown with thissels, but the goats got out, trashed the neighbourhood, and took us a better part of a day to catch them all!

This is the most amazing thing I've seen, i knew goats eat alot and even had a goat as a kid, but never realized as a small herd they don't mess around..wow..what a great company..

Just before Christmas I was driving a rental truck for the School Orchestra Tour of Victoria and Southern New South Wales and I was noticing just how overgrown the roadsides and centre medians were because we had had heavy flooding levels of rain during Spring. In places the grass had grown to chest height and was very thick and I watched one mowing crew working very slowly through the thick damp grass. I spent a lot of time thinking that a goat flock could save a lot of work, particularly on steep slopes or awkward parcels of roadside land. The only trouble is that you need farm land to keep the goats between jobs. Mark from Melbourne Australia

I love goats! My husband and I have about 6 heavily treed and brushed acres. We got some goats and have been letting them out in small areas at a time, and they have been doing a great job! There is no need for us to do much of any yard work. Goats are the best!

when i seen how many goats there were i was like "how many acres do you have?" and when you said "day or night" i was like "those goats will eat that area out in less than a day." when i was a kid we used to rent a goat for the spring and summer, we would tie it to a zip line along the creek cus it was such a pita to mow, the goat would eat half the stretch til it was all gone, then we would move the zipline and it would eat the other half. in the summer when the creek dried up we would bring her water (first time we got a male goat, we learned our lesson from that) so i know exactly how much a single goat can eat. goat also had a little goat house, it used to be a dog house my dad made but the dog it belonged to ran away (or that's what they told me anyways...little weird we never found him again...or that he never tried to run away until after we got our Doberman...) and the new dog didn't like it so it became a goat house. the goats loved to stand on top of it. also goats WILL turn all that grass into poop...it comes out like a cluster bomb, a single log that explodes into a bunch of tiny balls, that gets EVERYWHERE. we had a neighbor who hated that we had a goat, some old lady without anything better to do, so she would keep calling animal protection on us, they would come down, see the goat has food and water and shelter and then apologize and leave.

I used to work in California farm land. They will use goats/sheep to clear fields and fertilize the ground. They can close down a road for 10-20 minutes, moving goats/sheep from one side of the road to the other. Don't mess with a herd dog! They can be VERY aggressive!

That is such a good idea! I am in the process of selling my dad's property after his death and it gets so worrisome to constantly find someone to cut the grass! I might just check around the area and see if someone around there would let me rent their goats to cut the grass!

Our county officials hire goats, we often see herds of them on hillsides. Growing up we had one goat who kept the grass down, no noisy lawn mowers are awesome. If I had the money and that problem, I'd gladly pay more just to have the quiet.

Love this. Thank you. I had about a dozen goats on 30 acres. They were very selective about what they ate and never cleared the land like this. They did a lot of grazing on grass. Evidently they have to be crowded and competitive to eat everything like this. Or maybe it is the breed choices. Mine were mostly Nigerian. I learned a lot about edible plants by watching mine. I would research their favorite plants and they always were the highest in nutrients and usually edible for humans. I didn’t even know they could just eat everything like this. Mine never did.

I hope the owners arent starving the goats to achieve this. It's incredible
