I started doing drugs years ago as a teenage, got addicted to cocaine. Spent my whole life fighting cocaine addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Cocaine addiction actually destroyed my life. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

I used to do a lot of drugs I’m not going to lie- I was one of those kids who was doing rippers and popping pills by the time I entered highschool. I had a buddy who went off the deep end because he was doing so much acid he got super weird and it took like 6 months for him to return to normal lol I hate coke now… doing an 8ball sounds like a nightmare to me. I would not recommend coke to the youngsters I was fortunate in that I liked it but it was never something I was a fiend for but I have seen other people try coke and you can just see a twinkle in their eyes like they just discovered the ultimate drug. I have seen people go from never doing coke to trying it once to all the sudden a couple weeks later they are just always talking about coke and going in on a bag… their entire personality becomes “hey, lets get some coke dudeeee”

So wierd, before I watched this interview I was wondering how much I'd spent on drugs during my addiction. I was a MASSIVE junky. I'm from the UK, so if you want opiates, you really only have one option..heroin. Met a girl who looked like me, she was a Drs daughter, came from a nice family like me. She told me "Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie do it, it will help you lose weight". I'd never done more than a joint here and there and a few lines on a night out. She injejected me in her car, and I vomited for like 12 hours. And that was the start of the beginning. Like 2weeks later I'm working as an Escort with her doing gear and crack. Took me almost a decade to get clean. I reckon I've spent..250 grand at this point. Probably more.

What I learned from being an addict for many years and going to rehab many times, is that it’s not a competition between whose bottom was worse or who’s war stories are more gnarly…I was an IV heroin and cocaine user for a long ass time and have used drugs since I was very young… I remember being that dude one of the first times I went to rehab and saw that there were people in there for weed or essentially just partying too much in college…and a lot of us who used “harder drugs” who had really been through it, would judge these, mostly younger kids, in there for weed….or whatever it may have been that landed these kids or people in that situation…but as I got older I learned and matured…like who fucking cares why someone is in there or who was worse…that shit doesn’t matter at all. I can guarantee you, if you’re worrying about other people in recovery or treatment and not focusing on yourself, you’re not gonna make it. Instead I learned to turn that negative energy into positive energy and just try to better myself and help others as much as I could. We’re all in this together, we’re all fucked up. Putting someone else down or judging someone else is a waste of time, lame, and immature as fuck. Not everybody’s bottom has to be the same and you didn’t even had to have been using hard drugs to get there. If you’re life and mental health had reached a point where your life was unmanageable and out of control, you’ve reached your bottom for now. There always a trap door and it can always be worse. Like I said, it’s not a competition and if you’re not trying to help somebody, then shit up and stay in your lane
