In most cases, the metal character models for the old world are actually cheaper than the last time they were sold in 2015 so theres no space to complain in my opinion. £6 for a metal goblin hero model is perfectly priced in my opinion. Also, alot of the plastic kits (with the odd exception) are actualy vheaper then when they were last sold. Tomb guard for example were £25.50 for 10, now its £47.50 for 20. See what i mean?
Yeah you make a good point. I’m willing to pay the current prices, but many have concerns about it. On the face of it, it’s the same old models for a higher price, but it is only fair to say you get more. Perhaps some new models might appease some people. 👍
Considering that most Warhammer character models are priced around €30 these days, I don't think I can share the complaints over prices for once. I'm rather content with what most of the Old World characters cost. Looking over at AoS, the single *cheapest* Gloomspite Grot hero there is €24 / 19 pounds - I'm getting three(!) Night Goblin bosses for less than that for the Old World. I just bought my made-to-order Black Orc boss for €12, meanwhile an AoS Ironjawz Boss is between 30 and 35. Sure, we're buying old sculpts here, but even our brand new Forgeworld(!!!) Black Orc Warboss is cheaper than those.
