The fact they animated the bloopers makes me think they somehow managed to automate the process and now is very easy to do it. If that is the case, it shows some high skill level in programing, or at least very smart use of digital tools. Dont get me wrong, working smart is better than working hard, and Goblin Slayer Abridged in my opinion is better than the original, cant wait for them to do it with another good anime.
@@brianfhunter Its true they might have trained a model to respond to words since the animation doesn't involve the complexity of lifelike movements. I don't see it as likely and if they did somehow do that, they should keep that tech to themselves for now. Hard work needs to be recognized even if the hard work is training a model.
@@brianfhunter I wouldn't say it's better but I do think they explained or referenced facts from the novel that I think wasn't properly implied in the original anime so I guess you're right I normally think of the comment while I'm writing so no debate please thanks
I'm gonna just assume that one of Laikachi's kinks is being kinkshamed for her other kinks, and that Buggy rant deserves shaming just on the suggestion of corrupting poor sweet Chopper by having him wield a dismembered-yet-still-living clown dick. And that entire sentence is something that neither I nor anyone else should ever have had to type, Laikachi!
I was expecting a "Sword maiden is thirsty and badly wants that goblin slayer D" joke. So that threw me off as I was listening. I was like "Oh, it wont happen. shes into giving" Then bam. "Now put your dick in me" caught me off guard so fucking hard. Goddammit. That was an excellent Sword Maiden Twist.
Wait till she sees that one bath scene in Amazon Lily. You know the one. Unless she's seen Oda's fanmail replies where he admitted that Devil Fruit powers canonically also affect characters dicks, in which case she already knows.
I have to say I sat down and watched from start to finish. You all should be so proud of yourself on this. It's rare when you find something that is even better than the original. I'm hoping you all get to bring your creativity and comedy to new shows that just seem boring. All these netflix,Hulu, and Disney shows, and I'd much rather rewatch these creative masterpieces!
I wouldn’t say it’s better than the original, more like good in its own right. Goblin Slayer is a dark fantasy, meanwhile Goblin Slayer Abridged is comedy gold.
@DragonKing72 I agree, that's better put. With the original, it's much better watching it. I'm a tech and work on big machine lines, so I find myself just listening to the abridged more like a great audio book. I know there are visual jokes to it as well, but I watched it so many times that I can practically see it.
Priestess: "Let me try that again." And she did until the video ended. I also like knowing I'm not the only one who thinks about that kind of stuff. With Buggy, I mean.
Because they couldn't consistently get a creature comprised of pure hatred to voice lines. (there are only two breeds of dog that aren't fundamentally comprised of unconditional love, and are instead comprised of unadulterated hatred, and those are chihuahuas and pomeranians.)
3:40 - 3:45 "No, f**k you it's my Goblin! I've got big Suction Cup t*****s! Come and have a suckle!" This sounds like part of a deleted scene of Suction Cup Man by Piemations
U guys all deserve full time voice acting jobs if u want em. P.s. grimjack and laikachi going on their own separate tangents about ants and pegging was the highlight of my holidays
It’s probably a sign that you’re a damn good voice actor where you can literally be grimjack arguing with his mom about curfew in goblin slayers voice and somehow it still looks like the argument would fit in the scene (also ik the argument is a joke but a. I still laughed and b. Even if it wasn’t with how much of a beating it looks like goblin slayer took at that moment in the scene you’d imagine goblin slayer would be delirious from pain and honestly could be arguing with his mom in his head)
The idea of Dwarf Shaman talking one on one to his random Pomeranian that he brought to a dungeon for some reason while the rest of the party neither questions nor acknoledges it is hilarious
Truly, a lengthy line of alliteration shall slay the literary linguistic talents and lead them along into silly syllabries they so strive to shy away from.
CoffinJockey had the victory for me (and his goblin slaying dog) until Laikachi went into a disturbingly long tangent about One Piece unmentionables. Terrific.
Some amount of bloopers should have totally been left in. Especially when someone doesn't break character while doing it. Because they actually sometimes sound like something that character *would* say!
A bit of a BTS question to match the nature of a blooper reel, do you and your actors record in the same booth or do they send their audio files from home studios?
Hi, I’m the video editor for these bloopers so I can answer this a little. Most of the time when actors record it’s from their home set ups. Usually they’ll be wearing headphones and will be able to hear the director or they’ll have the director on speakers and be able to hear them like that (like how you heard Coffin ‘I wanna ride on the slide one more time’ during Elf’s line). So normally actors have their own home set ups.
@@redbeast13 Ah cool, thanks! I was curious because the quality across the recordings is super consistent, it made me wonder if you had people work out the same studio!
