I too was an alcoholic and even though I have drunk some since then its never been as bad. I am going through a tough time atm with anxiety, I prayed all night and today I`m reading the psalms and finding comfort in them. One final thing , only Christ can save not drinking. Anyone who have addiction issues, turn to Christ 🙂.

Ten years ago this month I was delivered from alcohol and a lot more by the lord, and I have been tested the last 10 years, but I never wanted to pick up a drink or a controlled substance ever again, praise the Lord Jesus Christ! I run to the Lord Jesus Christ now for everything! He is the answer because this life is about him! I’m praying for you, and you can get through this it’s not impossible, I started drinking at 15 years old and went all the way to 32 , got sober for a while and slipped up and went back and got sober again, but it was when I said I had enough! And fell on my face at age 39 and cried out to the Lord Jesus Christ please help me I don’t want this anymore and he delivered me!!! I’m going to be 50 next month and I say this in a humble way, but I am in the best shape of my life I have inner peace, yes I have a lot of problems still but my faith in Jesus Christ keeps growing we have to go against the grain of this world and the enemy Satan! I give all the glory to the Lord and savior Jesus Christ he never gave up on me when I was given up on myself, this life is a war this walk with the Lord is a war but we are on the right team! For me it was also around August 2023 where Jesus came into my life. Been to some REALLY low lows, some pretty high highs and now i am crashing again. Humility is key man

My heart is with you during this difficult time 🙏 1 Corinthians 12:26 it says, “If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.” We are all one body in Christ and even though we don’t know each other in person, we are together in spirit and we strengthen one another through prayer. The Lord is ever with you and His love for you will defend you. Regardless of the past, your future in Him is bright. You can leave behind the pain of yesterday and press forward to tomorrow knowing that it is promised to be beautiful in Him. He makes all things beautiful in its time!

The sufferings you endure are sufferings many of your brothers and sisters around the world are also enduring for the sake of Christs name 1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. I pray Lord that you will give David strength to praise you, that you draw him into your presence and fill him with the joy of the Lord. Let him exchange the spirit of heaviness for the garment of praise. Please surround him with love and support in your body and through your Word and presence. Be so close to him right now Jesus in your name I pray amen!

Congrats! I quit smoking a year ago today. Don’t give in to the temptation! I heard “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26 go through my head before I made the decision to stop. I also ended up quitting my job a week later after hearing the same thing. Stay strong!

Hey, I've been going through similar thoughts you're going through. Trust and believe you not alone! Tell the devil he's a liar and rebuke him for sure. The moment you feel like this, its because the enemy sees your potential and wants you to take yourself out to make his job easier. You're more than that though, you're a conqueror!

Whenever I feel worthless i like to remind myself of ‭Psalm 8:3-9 ESV‬: [3] When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, [4] what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? [5] Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. [6] You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, [7] All sheep and oxen, Yea, and the beasts of the field, [8] The birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, Whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. [9] O Jehovah, our Lord, How excellent is thy name in all the earth! Because it shows me no matter how i feel about myself, God with all his glory and wonders in the world still cares about me and each human in the world. ❤

I understand that you must be very weary of all the pain in this life. I am praying for you right now . Try to think about eternity with no sorrow, or pain you will be loved by our FATHER and He will wipe away all of the tears.

I didnt know if i should share this or not, but I will since it might help you in your journey. I too struggled with these bits of feeling like i just wasnt good enough. Like i wanted to just throw everything away i had worked on, because to be honest the pressure feels just unbearable sometimes and i was just kind of hoping on god to help me. And i just briefly saw a video saying god is angry at you and i was so upset because i could feel that it was for me. Because i was like i have been out here trying my best and now he is angry. So i was just crying out why are you angry at me? And there was another video that popped up and it was about how parents love their children not because of what they are doing but because they are theirs and i swear i was crying my heart out. The lord was angry because i told myself that i was worthless because things are not going a certain way. When our worth is really rooted in who we are as children of god. And therefore i feel like it is so important to remind ourselfs that god loves us not because we are successful in what we are doing, but because we are his. Because we belong to him as children. ❤ And in this love we can find the strengh to keep going because it will all be worth it. I will pray for you with much love

I understand wanting to die, I was there…. Just know the Lord is with you IN your suffering… He has NOT abandoned you. Many can sympathize with you but the Lord knows… He empathizes with you fully. He loves you so much!!! I pray Lord you silence these voices in their head and give them peace in JESUS NAME
