@@searchingforchrist7792 it happens sometimes but when there is silence there will be reasons. I havent asked God for His presence in this way but have experienced it. I love through periods of silience quite content that it is there. Its ok. What matters is whether that makes me insecure or not. I relate to doubting Thomas....its not a bad place to be because you question. Thomas knew God was real.....but also had real questions. And real questions need space rather than quick cliche answers that dont satisfy. Persevere.....your understanding at any point of time doesnt change Gods existence or care. Be careful of feelings.

He was against the priests who was always in the temple thinking and claiming they were serving God but when God Himself showed up who can see and evaluate the heart? He told them they were hypocrite, and abusers of innocent ppl by taking advantage and money from ppl using long prayers and God's Name. Jesus has got to do nothing with religion, He is the truth the life and the way to God, this is a Personal relationship invitation. I will advise you to read the word of God for yourself and be born again. The only way to get to the Kingdom of God is by being born again from the spirit of God. No other religion practice will save you.
