But some very important facts preclude that: firstly, to set that up would require extemely difficult permits as you would be endangering Thames river traffic, it would also require immediately on-hand resuce and emergencey service teams (in the water) as part of health and safety requirements; none were visible. Secondly, if you look carefully you will see that he stands little more than ankle high in the water. About half way into the video you see two kayakers appear behind him and they sail right across the path he has trodden; they would have struck the plexiglass and the whole thing would have been exposed in an instance. This didn't happen, so I think you need to revisit that theory.
