After I stopped complaining/gossiping at work it was so interesting how some people that talked with me on a daily basis no longer came by to talk with me. Hmmm……However I was amazed how my attitude at work and home improved.

Yes I have to try and stop doing this I work in a very toxic environment and chaotic and it’s easy to slip And vent. But I have to try to not do that anymore. Because it does affect me and it’s not what I should be and I feel the conviction as I’m doing it 😢

I have become closer to God and started reading the book of Matthew, I also started going to church! Everything biblical thing I see I hear goes back to Matthew I’m sure that’s the Holy Spirit giving me signs that God is with me 🤍 please pray for me to grow a firmer life within the Holy Spirit there’s so many temptations, warfare trying to get to me but I’m standing hard and giving my life to Jesus ❤

Great reminders! But do not forget, Jesus stands in our place on judgment day. Controlling our tongues is a result of the fruit of the spirit. Those who believe will not be held accountable on judgment day. But knowing that Jesus carries the weight of our careless words, should make us all the more grateful and careful in how we speak.

You have no idea how much I needed this. I’ve gotten myself into a situation with family members because of my mouth. I was so hateful with my speech. Those people no longer talk to me and I was trying to blame them for their distance and get mad at everyone else but myself. It’s been a year and it’s taken me that long to realize I AM THE PROBLEM. I’m praying for a mouth that speaks life. I’ve repented and no longer feel the burden (thank you Jesus) but it hurts my heart when I think back at what I did. After I came to the realization what I did, I prayed for my voice to be taken away. I hated myself. I’m so scared of being judged on what I said. Please pray for me. 💚

It takes alot to recognize what you just said. If you haven't already ask them for forgiveness so the Lord can fully restore. Theres a possibility they wont accept it but you have done your part in trying. 🙏

I’m extremely convicted of this as well and have been for a while. I try to be aware of my thoughts and words but the second I get frustrated or angry at something, it all comes out in my heart and thoughts and it kills me a little. I overshare and vent too quickly to other women because I’m desperate to related to them as friends because I talk to a 2 year old all day. Sometimes I vent it to my husband but I try not to because I see how it affects him. Father God take a hold of my thoughts and my heart before I can think or say bad words. In Jesus name amen.

This video hit home today. Thank you milena. I had a rough week at work. I am a teacher counting down the days till summer break. Countless days of cleaning and organizing classrooms, dealing with cranky kids, appeasing parents, classroom parties, trips, field days, conferences, trying to organize my own home and family......just trying to keep schedules, appts and daily life.......all while trying to keep it together for dozens of kids at school. I'm tired. I came home today and just had a meltdown with my family. .....all while trying to get dinner on the table while stuffing goody bags for yet another party at school tomm and friday. I'm praying so hard for strength to get it all done and stay sane

That even though nothing may really slow down or stop, that you have the strength and peace and patience with yourself to get through the week with God’s help, that you have the patience with others to let the stress roll off your back and fall away, that your family would be supportive of you and forgive your hard moments and your inability to be a superhuman. That you would enjoy the adventure of your crazy week, and not resent it or get angry at the situation you’re in. That you’d have moments of total joy and that your behavior would be a wonderful testimony to the people who see you and speak with you. Hi ! A thing I'm asking myself about what she's explaining about "life speaking" or "death speaking" is what are you supposed to do if you feel frustrated or angry about something and feel the need to confide about it with your husband, for example, or a close friend ? How can you express your bad feelings and express your need for help without being negative or complaining ? Sometimes we need to express our bad emotions, right ? And doing that next to someone we trust can help deepen our relationship with them, by showing our vulnerability and being grateful for their support. So, theoretically, if we everytime forced ourselves to "speak life" et "stay positive and quiet", and to only put our bad feelings in God's hands in prayer, we could never process these negative emotions with the help of our close ones... whereas this is also the purpose of close relationships.

I needed to see this so much that the devil wouldn't let the audio of this video work. I sat through the first 3 minutes of it in complete silence, thinking your intro was purposely quiet (judging by the title). After about 5 minutes, I was like this can't be right. On the 3rd time of completely backing out of the app, it finally worked! Every single word spoke to me. Recently, the Holy Spirit has been convicting me of what I say and this video was an answered prayer. Thank you Milena for speaking God's truth! 🙌

I’ve been struggling really bad with how my husband is spending his spare time while working away. I just want you to know that having 3 young children is a blessing but it also comes with its challenges. I’ve noticed that when I get short with my children, it is usually due to needing a break. We are all human and if your heart isn’t in a space wear you feel comfortable, there’s likely a need that isn’t getting met for you. You aren’t bad, you are a mama. You wear so many hats, no one can be a chef, maid, therapist, and manager 24/7. Rest is important too.

Father God, help me to speak life unto everyone I converse with, Help me to bridle my tongue Help me to speak with grace and purity And use my voice to spread the good news of the Gospel, your truth, for the upbuilding up of your Kingdom Lord help me to hold back filthiness foolish talking, coarse joking as well as gossip and slander, and instead help me, to speak with respect and humility. Love this! I just had a bible study last night with a new believer. She texted me later to tell me about a situation where she felt someone was seeing her as a "bad christian" because she listened to some music with adult language. So I had a long talk with her about how words are powerful and they can either point our hearts closer to God or to our own spirit of the flesh, but that ultimately she needed to pray about it and seek wisdom from the Holy Spirit. I'm so thankful for the power of the Holy Spirit and how we don't have to have the strength to do it all on our own!

Milena, I’m so grateful the Lord has used you in this specific conviction. Long suffering was the topic during this past Sunday service. This is super encouraging, I’m currently on a missions trip with teenagers and have found myself struggling being surrounded by speech that is the opposite of uplifting and finding myself struggling to speak life over the teens as well. I would definitely recommend the book "The Power of Silence: Against the Dictatorship of Noise," by Robert Cardinal Sarah and Nicolas Diat. It has some really insightful things to say about the role of silence in our spiritual lives. It's a great reminder that sometimes the most powerful moments of connection with God can happen in the quiet moments, when we're able to tune out the distractions and noise of the world around us.

I am newly trying to read the bible and be closer with god. In my teenage years, i was so far from him, and it evidently cause me much pain. If anyone has any advice on where to start and which bible to read, i would greatly appreciate it. I hope to keep seeing these kinds of videos in my feed. It really made me feel guilty for how I've spoken in the past, and im grateful for the wake-up call.
