Speaker biography: Mother Dolores is the former Prioress of the Benedictine Abbey of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, Connecticut. During her seven-year career in film and on Broadway she became known internationally, memorably starring in films with Elvis Presley. Her radical choice to enter a cloistered Abbey at the height of her career, at first shocked and then inspired those who admired her as an actress and public figure.
