God is Truth 

God is truth.
God does not traffick in lies for there is no lie in Him.
God is not the Father of lies.
God is the Father of truth.
The only way to overcome deception is with the truth.
You cannot overcome lies with more lies.
Why?
Because this will only lead one away from the truth and into more deception.
Christ did not overcome the Father of lies with lies of His own.
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
Instead, Christ overcame the devil’s lies with truth.
"For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." (John 1:17)
Our view of God's character matters because it colors our worldview.
If we believe God is violent, we will excuse and overlook human violence.
But if we understand that God is nonviolent, then we will no longer excuse any form of human violence as being of God.
Those who believe that God is a liar have not known the Father, as revealed by Jesus Christ.
If you want to know what your Creator looks like, look at Jesus Christ.
Christ's way of nonviolent love of friends and enemies is the way of God, not man.
Mankind largely rejects the teachings of the nonviolent Master, Jesus Christ.
We must follow Christ above other voices in the wind if we are to avoid spiritual deception.
We encourage you to cling to Jesus and learn from His humility and suffering.
