I'm catholic and had the great privilege of meeting this amazing teacher of the Bible through my baptist friends. He planted the desire in me to know more about what was written in the Bible. He brought the Bible to life and the wisdom in it.

What a sermon.... As I sit in a semi Cold ❄ afternoon in Soweto Johannesburg South Africa 🇿🇦. I hear these sweet words of the Gospel. So clear, so plain. So Convicting and yet he says to me prove me on this matter or search me on that matter. He didn't shove his faith in me but taught to find it out for myself. To continue being saved until I am truly and completely saved. Its a journey that even Abraham walked, until he was finally called back home in his good old age. Pawson has done well and surelt he was a True Farmer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He might have not agreed to farm his earthly fathers farm but he was Obedient to God's Farm... They gave Ravi Zacharias all the praises and didn't even mention brother. This guy is arguably the best teacher when it came to speaking about the spiritual world. He was YEARS ahead of his time, YEAR. His messages from the later 70's and early 80's are still relevant today.
I don't think it's that people are dishonoring David Pawson or intending to discredit him by any means. Ravi Zacharias had/has a huge youth following and was blessed in that His ministry was at the front of the the Jesus movement we see happening at the moment 🤗

I just discovered David Pawson's teachings recently and couldn't stop Listening . I've been searching for such a preacher and wondered why was he kept Hidden for Long? I Strongly Believe, Now that he is with Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, his Messages and Preachings will Now Spread Widely Like Fire!!! Just bought unlocking the bible. I found it so amazingly written just by reading the chapter on Genesis. At the end of it I decide to Google this writer to see his face. I never heard of him before. I thought this man is so intelligent. In a few days he explained a lot of questions I always had about a lot of happenings in the bible. Sadly I see he is no more.. he said hallo and goodbye . His teachings needs to get out there. I'm privileged to learn from him.

I just recently (about one month ago), came across David Pawson's bible studies and video teachings. I was saddened by his death, but, I feel he was a true teacher of God's Word. I am in no way worried about what David Pawson was teaching about in terms of salvation. I truly understand. So by Romans 13:11, Paul is basically summing up the life we should live as Christians from the chapter before until 13:11 (Romans 12:1-13:11 NKJV) on this side of eternity (13:1 NKJV, first words, "And do this"). Remember, Paul is always writing to Christians. Very important to understand this! And these were Roman Christians he was urging about how to live in the rapidly changing times, which of course, applies to believers today. Paul describes why it is so essential for Christians to live this way. Time is of the essence. Paul writes the hour has come for them to wake up, in the sense that the sun is about to rise. Remember, in Paul's day you had to rise and work when the sun rose and stop when the sun went down. He uses this as a spiritial metaphor. So, It's time to get to work. What does it mean that the sun is rising? Paul describes the moment as one in which salvation is closer now than when his readers first trusted in Christ. Does this mean that Paul did not think of Christians as being saved? Not at all. The New Testament often describes salvation as something that has happened, is happening, and will happen. In this case, Paul is referring to salvation in the sense that all who are in Christ will have reached eternity, that the time of ultimate victory and judgment is fast approaching. Paul believed that day could come at any time. Two thousand years later, we are still looking forward to it. This is my complete understanding of what the Bible says, and David Pawson's interpretation of it (as I respond to, "ByHisCall"). David Pawson accurately taught salvation in my mind. I will keep his wife and family in my prayers.

Both preachers that you mentioned were simply false prophets who are destined for hell. If you cannot see it then you are just as blind as they most certainly were and you are in for a very rude awakening.

Unlike most other bible teachers/preachers, the more he got older, the more he conformed his heart, mind, convictions and teachings to the undiluted truth of the Word of God. I am so sad that Mr Pawson has left us! I have listened to many of his teachings & read a few of his books (Unlocking The Bible is one of my favourites). He was one of the best bible teachers of modern times - no doubt in my mind about that! Let us all pray his ministry will continue to prosper even now.
Hi Richard, due to ill health David withdrew from public ministry in 2016, he set up a Trust the ''David Pawson Teaching Trust'' to protect his ministry for the generations to come, the mantle is now with us to make sure it continues, there is a n active plan to release more teachings and publish more books, we are about to publish Davids latest book - New Testimony Colossians which completes the New Testament Commentary Series .....We echo your prayers - ''lets pray the Lord blesses this Ministry as he has in the past'' ......David may no longer be with us but his ministry continues ....
I’m only going to point out one thing about the brick-making that brother Pawson mentioned is wrong: the straw doesn’t make the brick lighter, it’s the cellulose fibre in the straw that binds the clay together, by doing this, when the bricks are fired, they won’t crack that easily as just clay. David Pawson is a master at contextualizing the bible. We understand the significance of the events and why they happened in the context of the tradition at the time and the geography / topography. Makes the bible so much more meaningful.
I had the honour of meeting David in England during a Bible week celebration. He was wonderful. Will meet again in glory. He consistently loved Israel and understood their significance to the world.
