If you ult with 0 mirrors, then do the elemental skill 4 seconds after and then a charged attack 4 seconds after, you have a full 12 seconds of 3 mirrors, and his cooldown is not that bad
Yeah, his rotations are a lot more in-depth than someone like Aggravate Keqing. Damage is pretty cracked tho. Using Yaoyao for deepwood with EM Raiden and Xingqiu. I got 134 ER and it's enough to burst every rotation on this Abyss cycle
Here’s the exact rotation for anyone wondering Q (if low ping during ult animation u can switch out to Fishcl etc to apply electro) NA3 then E then N3 then CA then keep NA till mirrors run out
You really really need a 4pc deep wood user in alhaitham teams no matter if it is hyperbloom or spread even if nahida has a little less that 1000 em it is better to have the deep wood!
Tbh I dont really see the difference. I still destroy everything even without the deepwood application Edit: I Know how the artefact work. All im saying is Al Haithaim is already good and doesnt depend on this set at all. Deepwood is just a BiS for a support character but like anything in this game, you dont need this set to make Al Haithaim a god. 30% dendro shred ≠ 30% damage bonus.
@teeman7137 it can work w/o deep wood but it is like having the opportunity of running VV and not doing it losing a lot of dmg unnecessarily ! I know the game is easy but if someone is struggling to 36* the abyss those little tips help a lot !
I don't mean to sound rude. He is a strong unit, really strong in spread and hyperbloom teams. But you might still want to optimize his rotations a little better. After using the burst you might want to stay on field to get the three mirror procs, instead of switching out to use other skills. I know TCers want to say you should use all your support abilities then Burst > 6NA > CA/ Skill> 4NA > CA/ Skill > 4NA, which gives you around 12-16 seconds of on field time per rotation. But I would say if you wanna do shorter rotations just do; party skills/ bursts, switch to Alhaitham and burst to get 3 mirrors, keep doing auto attacks until he's down to 2 or 1 mirror, switch out and use party skills/ bursts, switch back to Alhaitham, do skill and plunge to get 3 mirrors, keep doing auto attacks until he's down to 2 or 1, so on and so forth. This will allow you to funnel energy particles from your other party members, on top of managing your skill cool down by extending other party members field time in between. p.s. Jadeplume has massive Dendro res. Probably a bad matchup against a Dendro DPS. Having him on the 2nd Half Team would've yielded better results. p.s.s. It's funny you keep calling him Alt. I've seen other content creators call him "Al" which is essentially just calling him "The". Normally in arabic Al is used as an honorific, which technically makes his name just Haitham. You just went the chaotic route lmao.
Burst DPS Alhaitham is lower DPS in general, because unless you have enough ER to burst every rotation, the bursts would only yield DPS loss, esp if you need to build 200%+ ER and sacrifice DPS stats. His best team uses him as on-field DPS/Driver and not as a on-field burst bot, much like how Childe. About the issue of "funnelling energy of your teammates", sounds like you just don't have enough ER and/or Favonious weapons on them. Typically your Alhaitham supports shouldn't have ER issues so you can on-field Alhaitham. If you just use him as a burst bot, just use Dendro MC/Yaoyao/Nahida man... At that point off-field dendro application is a lot more valuable.
Alhaitham have a special icd which only involves hit rule not time rule ( he applies dendro every 2 hit) and his full NA combo, expecially the last one is very slow so normally you’d like too do N3/N4 and then dash to cancel the normal attack sequence. That way you get more spread/dendro applications, the optimal combo is usually Q( swap out to cast your supports’ skills if you have less than 120 ping) switch back to alhaitham then N4 dash N2 E/CA, N3D N3 E/CA
@@endieloe8972 I'm confused because I don't think my comment mentioned anything about playing him as a burst dps? Or about using him as a battery for his teammates? My comment states quite the opposite actually. I am well aware of his optimal combos, team comps, and rotations. I believe you either misread or misunderstood my comment.
@Laurent he’s very strong, the fact that he’s dendro already makes him at the level of hutao/ayaka lmao, being a worse nahida doesn’t mean that he’s not strong but rather very strong but not as strong as an insane lot strong unit
fr lmao, he doesn't really know how to play characters while utilizing their kits properly, and he also doesn't really know the basics of team construction. Its not like its a super hardcore game so its baffling that he doesn't even know the common strategies.
He's a good pick for a dendro hypercarry despite his 17secs cool down on his E. But he does so much damage that it doesn't really matter since everything just melts. Especially if you got the light sword with him.
@@jax1670 This isn't even right, he has a 100% uptime if you start with burst, obviously he will need energy help but you're already running him with another dendro character most of the time.
@@MergedWarriors using Yaoyao, and 134 is enough for me with current Abyss. Using quickbloom with XQ and Raiden. With Nahida, 120 is enough from my arbitrary tests. With Dendro MC he needs like 140+ to feel comfortable, which I don't really like, cause DMC also needs energy to burst on cooldown, but he/she offers more damage buffing than Yaoyao or Collei if you don't have Nahida.
He NEEDS at least one deepwood memories user on his team. If you can’t do that, HE HIMSELF should run deepwood. It will do more than gilded dreams alone.
at 8:38 there were 3 hits of 60k, 63k and 65k in the same second so that was definitely alhaitham since nahida doesn't have such rate of fire. This is absolutely freaking nuts, congratulations!
@@TheLogicalResult well yeah? you could say this about any other dps who uses kazuha and bennet lol obviously you gonna use the best support for your unit to get the best dmg outcome from your dps
Man, I hoped Moga would do him justice, but the absence of a full dendro set in the team and the botched rotation is making this kind of painfull to watch and this has been a trend with a lot of recent characters, where he could have done a little more research:/
it is painful for sure but this is what i like about Moga, i just feel like he doesn't look up about the characters completely and goes on building and using them just with the info in game, its really fun and different from pretty much every other Genshin content creator
To be honest part of the reason i didnt pull alhaitem and the reason i wont is because i would need a support with 4 peice dendro, also i like cynos playstyle more and my gilded set is for him alone
The healing bonus deepwood would be great for Yaoyao at least... All my deepwoods have had another type of elemental damage or DEF as main stat so far. Literally all of them. It's insane
love how alhaitham absolutely destroyed everything even without a 4pc gilded dreams set or a deepwood on his team (for dendro resist shred). he truly is a beast lol
Your videos are so entertaining! Like I basically know the formula to these videos, know all the steps you do in pulling, raising and god mode videos yet I don't get bored of them at all
A lil tip you should use the deepwood set on nahida!! Bcs the 30% shred also works when nahida is unfield so allhaitham can do more dmg and pls take shinobu instead of fischl and take nilous sig wepaon on shinobu so that allhaitham can get some extra crazy em!! Ik ur dmg will be doubled if you do that Also shinobu is way better electro applicator then fischl bcs the electro ring moves with you!
what is going awn? -ignorance of the importance of deepwood -lack of knowledge of his optimal rotations -complaining about the cooldown without experimenting around with the rotations i absolutely love your content but you didnt do this man justice sadly
Your rotation is all wrong tho you still destroy things easily anyway You are supposed to use Q first, and after 2 sec you'll get 3 mirrors, then after 4 sec (2 wave) you CA, then another 4 sec (2 wave) you E. So all in all you can have 6 lvl3 mirror procs in total.
Fischl isn't such a great support for spread teams in general because spread doesn't count as an "electro-related elemental reaction" meaning that you do not get to proc very many A4 hits. She's a monster in Aggravate teams though. Better to run a well built Raiden or Nahida for damage or if you need healing Kuki or preferably c1 Yaoyao for the 4pc deepwood, dendro dmg boost, particles and healing. This is doubly true in Nilou teams where Yaoyao's emergency heal and increased dendro res in her ult comes in very handy.
hey just as a tip, Nahida prefers running an EM goblet over a Dendro DMG bonus goblet, the damage difference is absolutely minimal and she gets extra CRIT rate AND damage on her E with more EM :D
you can do this rotation to get the most damage out of his kit: ult (no mirrors) > na until 2 waves of 3 mirror attack > ca/skill > na until 2 waves of 3 mirror attack > charged atk/skill > na until 2 waves of 3 mirror attack, repeat note: if ur ping is low enough u can switch after his ult to do smthg like tapping nahida's skill or kuki's skill or dmc skill, anything that takes one second and u can switch back to alhaitham and still get the 3 mirrors after!
after you guys master his combo his cd doesnt matter, his combo is burst, NA until 2 rain swords, Skill, NA until 2 rain swords,, charge attack, then NA until 2 rain swords, then swap
His Quickboom team is actually one of the few teams I have that can 1 rotate the Golden Wolflord fight in the Abyss!! I managed to clap it without ever letting its shield go up : D
You should put the deep wood on Nahida and have him on gilded dreams Kuki or other characters that can apply electro constantly and dendro character if you want To. I usually use Zongli cause Alhaitham really is strong with just dendro and electro. He's cracked af. Use his ult first wait for a few seconds. And you'll get 3 mirrors. I think other comments have explained pretty much everything. Hope you'll correct some stuff and use him again.
I'd have to say Alhaitham is by far my most enjoyable character to play. I've put about as much investment into him as my other favs but he's so much more fun for me. Especially since he's one of those characters that's extremely punishing if you don't play him well and is extremely rewarding if you know what do to. Team I run on him is pretty common in the form of Nahida, Shogun and Shinobu. I know people say other electros are better for him than Shogun but I don't have any others built and frankly I don't care, Shogun works wonders for me and if that's not the case for anyone else then too bad. Generally my best build for him is also 2 piece deepwood and 2 piece EM (currently wanderers over gilded but that's just cause my wanderers set is infinitely better than my gilded). All in all he's extremely strong and fun to play and those who say he's bad or mid either; A: don't know how to build characters properly at all cause he's pretty damn simple, or B: Are just salty and trying to make themselves feel better that they didn't get him or because other peoples builds are better than theirs.
While playing Alhaitham I realized that his damage heavily relies on how you play him. (His artifacts remain the same in the playstyles I found him being effective in) if you are confident in your energy return you can do a burst Alhaitham, this rotation is team setup>e plunge>burst> then setup again/sub dps (Lots of damage but I still prefer him being an on field dps) Then theres the mirror normal attack build where you just normal attack with 3 mirrors (his ult can count as a backup if your e is on cooldown or if you needed to switch to setup your supports for maximized damage) edit: Im still learning how to use him so do take this with a grain of salt I just use this at the moment since the damage he does is crazy, if you have any more thoughts id be happy to learn more ^^
I wasn't even planning on getting him, tried my luck using the ten free fates on the daily rewards and still got him. I shall now call him dendro daddy
I love Alhaitham so much, he's my favorite character- I am very upset however that, back when he was just released, I pulled Xiao instead. Maybe I shouldn't have farmed for Xiao. I was guaranteed too- I have no idea what I was thinking that made me chose Xiao instead of my love 😢😭💔
Alhaitam is a monster when at c6, I'm not even at max level yet, still at 80 but my wep is r2 and I have him at c6, he's hitting like 20ks+ crits. Will be great to see what he's like when I hit ar 45 and pick up some 5 star artifacts
I know it's beyond optimal but sometimes I'll use alhaitham skill and then Burst just to see enemies melt away. At least in the overworld. The fatui are no longer "difficult" lol
Not trying to backseat gaming but you could watch i win to lose gameing just to have alot more fun in the future noI do not try to advertise for another channels you still my favorite genshin channel
You don't need cons. for his CD. If you know how to play him basically you got infinite E just need to know what your doing. People think his CD is way to long but with perfect timing it's nothing like that. If you can't do it then it's either you have skill issue or your pc/ mobile is potato
Just put deepwoood on any support/healer, add (preferably) an electro character or 2 if you're going for aggrivate, hyperbloom team is always cracked too so any good hydro application and team ready. In the overworld enemies are easy so just run whoever you like (I put 20 lvl Lisa in my team just for electro application and to farm friendship)
I recommend putting him with Raiden or Nilou! YaoYao as well because the reaction is insane. For the artifacts, I recommend going 2 piece glided dreams and 2 piece deepwood memories
please do another random anyss but do 9-12!! you can have 3 rerolls ( or how many u would like ) you haven’t done one in a while and this anyss is difficult!
@@sev559 you only can keep 3 mirrors E and charged attack give this amouth, even plunge give more that unneccesery and take time ,in abyss time tap e more smooth
I have seen so much about Alhaitham being hard to play and clunky at C0, but I felt none of that during his trial and I am so excited to continue building my Alhaitham (even though I won't be using him until my Ayato is friendship 10, it's just the thing I do with new 5 stars)
I think it would be cool for god mode if you had a "ftp" section, where you only use 4 star supports and the 5* best in slot 4* weapon, maybe before the section with your best sups and their signature weapon, that way you can showcase max ftp potential and max whale potential for the character- I know you use 4 star weapons i the raising, but they have low talent and main ascension levels, so it feels very inaccurate. Although since you have twice as much resin and likely much better artifacts than most, bc of money, I think it would be neat and may also combat the criticism that you only use the same 3 teams/small set of characters as supports whenever you do a showcase. But idk, maybe thats just me wanting to see more of the 4 stars you have builds and maxed stats for
using a c2 nahida could even make tighnari look broken, not balanced. so imo nahida, even though is his best teammate in most of his teams, might be a little bit too overpowered because of her c1 and c2
It's so annoying when the boss drops a character needs doesn't match the elemental gems they use. I've had to farm dendro cube on top of wenut cuz it drops stupid anemo gems
I use him with XQ, Shinobu and Raiden and he’s insane. My strongest character, i’m super happy with him! Also I’d love to see a revisit sometime where you learn his combo :) the E isn’t a problem at all then and he gains even BIGGER damage heh😁
