God of War 3 Remastered (PS5) - Kratos Vs. Hades Boss Fight (4K 60FPS) 

Fun fact: Hades was voiced by Clancy Brown the guy that does Mr Krabs voice

This fight was one of the best in this game. It was just Hades fighting you. He didn't send his lowly goons to fight you. It was just a one on one with him. I loved it.

Hades: i hate you! you killed my niece, Athena! Athena: Yeah Kratos let the rage of sparta fuel your blade, kill him lmao

"how many sins have you committed against me? Oh, that's right, you murdered my niece, Athena, and what else? What else? Ah, and you killed my brother, Poseidon, and it is not forgotten that you got paint all over me first dollar!"

Even as an enemy, Hades is still the best Olympian. He wants to kill you to revenge his family rather than fear that one day Kratos might rule Olympus like Zeus

"Ahoy SpongeBob, I'm going to fight the God of War in the fiery pits of hell! A-harharharharhar"

Hades’ monologue before the fight is just so intimidating and awesome

I absolutely love Hades' design. The furnace-like helmet covering his face, the huge black spikes protruding from all over his back, his massive and stocky frame, the leathery and mangled skin with deep cuts and bruises all over. You can tell he's lived a very long life and has been through hell (both figuratively and literally). Everything about him screams ruler of the Underworld. Plus, I like how his weapons are twin hooks that can steal someone's soul. I wonder if the process is painful or if it's just an instant death.

Kratos is so strong that he can pull his own soul back

I always wondered how Kratos could resist his soul being pulled out, but the titans and Hades couldn't resist. My best guess would be that his pure anger isn't allowing his soul to leave his body.

This is easily one of the most intense and scary fights of GOW 3

Is it just me or is The Design of Hades Terrifying but hes actually the best olympian, He Hasnt done anything bad in the GOW Saga, when we fought him He Just Wanted to Avenge His Brother and Not Kill one of his own blood for dumb stuff like zeus, Also His Boss Fight is so Enjoyable because Its an Actual 1V1 And No Annoying Goons being retarted

Music, atmosphere, dialogue, character design... Every part of this fight is so epic.

One of the greatest boss fights of all time. Starts with a distance fight, then super up close to u stabbing him, to repeatedly slamming him against a roof, to popping his mask off and stealing his soul, thus reducing probably the MOST intimidating of all the gods (aside from Ares and Posiedon) to nothing but a corpse at the bottom of the river...all in realtime...with seamless cut scenes, and no load times...

Kratos: BOY, LISTEN UP! Atreus: Yes father? Kratos: I come from a faraway land called Sparta. There I sold my soul to a God. Then another God tried to steal it. I subsequently took HIS soul and absorbed it into myself in an AWESOME manner.

Whenever I read about Hades in Greek mythology, this is what I pictured he’d sound like. Menacing but with a twisted sense of humor. Wrathful but not acting completely out of malice. Confident but honorable at the same time. Clancy Brown did a great job with his voice. As well as a great design and an amazing boss fight

I really am impressed with the graphics. In my personal opinion, Hades looks amazing. Certainly one of my favourite fight scenes with regards to the story of Kratos.

Hades is often cast as the villain while his brothers Zeus & Poseidon are portrayed as Benevolent. But when you study the old Greek Mythologies Hades while hardly what one would call Christlike is almost the complete opposite and was much more dignified & just When compared to most of the other gods in the old Greek Pantheon Especially his brothers Zeus and Poseidon.

Hades: “You murdered my niece, Athena.” Kratos: “That was an accident. I meant to stab Zeus, but she took the fall instead.” Hades: “You killed my brother, Poseidon.” Kratos: “That water logged horse’s ass asked for it.” Hades: “I have not forgotten that it was you who butchered my beautiful Queen!” Kratos: “Persephone used my daughter against me! She deserved it!” Hades: “Do you have an excuse for each god you murder?!” Kratos: “Keep talking Hades, and I’ll have one for killing you!”

Hades was literally the only god with actual reasons and justification to want kratos dead

the thing that really impress about hades,is the fact that he is so much determined to beat you is just,incredible

Man, while I do love the more cinematic and restrained approach to the new games' musical scores, the tonal brutality in the older games' soundtracks will still always be the core signifier of Kratos for me.

honestly one of my favorite boss fights from this series Hades wasn't like the other gods, it wasn't fear that drove him, but rage, and he knew that underestimating Kratos was a stupid thing to do

Out of all of the original God of War games, this is one of my favorite bosses solely because Hades uses chain weapons just like Kratos. It feels like two warriors from rival schools dueling to prove the prowess of their similar but unique fighting styles. Kratos relies on his agility and speed to control his Blades, his form almost like a dance, while Hades uses brute strength and the weight of his Claws to tear through the environment and dismember his enemies with sheer force.

I love this, it has the look of most modern games while maintaining the classic ps1 to ps2 playstyle

To this day, Hades' AOE chain attack is still my absolute favorite move of any boss in the franchise. The sound effects and visuals really made it memorable.

I loved Hades' fight in this game, even more so than his brothers' individual fights. Poseidon tried to face Kratos behind a monument to his power, a shell of water, electricity, and rock. And the moment he was taken out of it, he crumbled like a sack of cards. Zeus was a nearly non-stop slogfest between two powers of equal might, each trying to outlast the other in a war of sheer attrition and escalating displays of carnage. But Hades? Hades was a mountain of meat. No tricks, no nonsense. Just up-front, no-holds-barred raw physical might and durability. No matter how much Kratos battered him, impaled him, or carved giant bloody chunks out of him, Hades adamantly refuses to stay down. Every time he suffered an injury that should have crippled him, he only got bigger and nastier instead. It took Kratos using his own weapons to rip his soul out to keep Hades down for good. Had he not, I don't know what ungodly level of strength it would've taken to kill him. Badass.

Kratos had to kill her to save the world, and in doing so condemned the four armed Titan to a fate worse than death than being chained up. Cursed to forever hold the world on his shoulders. In my opinion Hades doesn’t get to bitch about that.

My favorite boss fight, the combat, the dynamic between those too its just perfect. Hades seems like a nice uncle after all
