I legit turned the game off at that point, never to turn it back on again. In my Lore, Kratos still lives with his daughter and they're still there to this day
Raziel Thats exactly what kratos used is focus and control kratos himself used he's rage and vengeance as he's advantage Atrues in the other hand determination isnt as strong as kratos, Kratos used control over he's anger because he knows that he is a god kratos teaches he's son focus because of he's survival kratos is an old man already he must take care of he's child more than he did himself kratos regretted he's past he wanted Atrues to be better than kratos he did not want Atrues to be like him because the way kratos has been has never always been the gift he had wanted he was forced to kill the gods
@@lordbruck6254 Not trying to be a grammar nazi, but most of the time you write *he's* you mean *his* . *His* is used when you mean to express ownership/relation to someone. *He's* is short for *He is* , which is used to declare a person's status or similar.
xdude228 Chains of olympus is before gow1. At this moment he wasnt full of hatred and evil and Till gow3 many things have changed. His hatred and evilness increased till gow3 by betrayal of the gods so Kratos did everything right.
He destroyed the world, but he didn't destroy Elysium. Persephone's plan would have destroyed both. Technically, Kratos didn't end up destroying his daughter so what does he care beyond that point?
He didn’t do it for the world, he was ready to let the world fall so he could see her again. He only left to stop Persephone and Atlas because if he didn’t Elysium (and by extension his daughter) would be destroyed too. I guarantee if Elysium would’ve been safe he wouldn’t have left. It also happens to be a place he didn’t destroy in GoW 3
Wouldn't Elysium be destroyed along with the underworld? Seemed like all the greek realms collapsed into each other when Zeus was defeated in 3, Engulfing the whole place in chaos. Still, It makes sense that Kratos would feel better about his daughter's soul being completely free rather than belong to the realm of a god. Seemingly peaceful or not.
yeah she had to monologue like a cartoon villain. she might as well used a death ray or some ACME dynamite to destroy the pillar. wouldve fit with her character.
@@emiliozamora507 weirdly enough, I thought Midgard was in another universe. I think it was the conversation between Kratos and his gang back when they looked at that painting of Tyr traveling around to different pantheons. Could've sworn Mimir said something about Tyr traveling to other worlds
I can guess the hilarious dialogue K: Hello little soul, can you give me your life energy? Soul: Lolwut? K: Shhh... Trust me, it won't hurt, I swear... *proceeds to snap necks*
Chief It's not goofy. It's meant to stir emotional immersion into pushing her away. Seeing it happen in a cutscene makes you feel bad for Kratos but separating a child from their father yourself is meant to make you feel like an asshole who has no choice but to push away the ones you care for most.
Kratos already got his vengeance and was much wiser and lesser angrier once atreus was born. Plus he was older. Plus he would have been a good father lowkey if ares didn't trick him into accidentally killing her
Interesting. Persephone is like an *evil version on Freya* : she married a man she didn't love and searched for vengeance against everyone, while Freya was a bit more humble and recluded.
@@themercifulguard3971It affects men the same, they are just taught to repress their emotions and stay stoic, while Women are granted more emotional freedom.
Darryl Cornejo yes,she was a Demigod,Kratos is son of a God and a Mortal, which means hes a Demigod, which means Calliope is also a Demigod since Kratos was a Demigod and her mother was a Mortal
Poor kratos, So sad all kratos wanted was to be with his daughter and when he finally got the opportunity he couldn't because if he stayed she along with Elysium and the rest of the world would perish. So he had no choice but to leave her. This shit got me tearin up not gonna lie 😢
I love how you need to do the button mashing stuff here because the button mashing represents feats requiring great strength in the god of war series so it shows you just how much effort it takes for him to do this
But... She just lectured on about Mortals serving their own needs before others.... And then she's doing just that in the next line by threatening to break the world pillar out of her own needs .... Wuuuut.
The sad part is Kratos got what he wanted most: redemption and being reunited with one of his loved ones. Had he not done anything to save the world, he would've died a redeemed man.
It's not his fault tho everything just goes against him in every way even with Deimos he said that he will lose him again and yet his brother died, lost him forever now
Tbh in mythology hades is a good husband despite taking persephone to the underworld. And she didn’t mind him at all as well. AND she was also free to leave the underworld for a few months to be with her sister then she could go back home then do it all again on a daily basis. P.S: Correct me if I’m wrong because it’s been awhile since i last read about it.
I thought Hades married the God of nature? And the whole cycling to and from the earth explains why we have winter and fall, the two seasons she's away from the world
well persephone is the goddess of seasons so you're not wrong and she wasn't so happy living in the underworld so her mother (i think) struck a bargain with hades to have her half of the time
@@mutantfreak48 And then a compromise was made on the terms of how much of an apple she had eaten or some such. Since she had apparently eaten 2/3 of that apple, she had to stay there 2/3 of the year.
Well no he still lead a whole army and absolutely manhandled those souls to get his stuff back, like he had the strength to rip a man in 2 with his normal strength, and he is a pretty lean dude
If you have read the comics of god of war then u know how much struggle kratos went through for his daughter. It is actually very emotional to push her away from kratos again.
In this PSP timeline, Atlas would probably only destroy Greece/Olympus and the surrounding area. Persephone believed that the world would be destroyed and Kratos believed her. But she was probably not aware, including Kratos at the time, that other pantheon existed and their destruction does not effect them. Chances are Zeus and a select few knew of the other gods, but we will never know for sure until the new God of War gives more details of the world.
