Anyone else miss the glass cannon builds in GoW 2018 that allowed you to kill Valkyries in 7 seconds on the absolute hardest difficulty? Those were always fun to watch.
Try the berserker rush builds. I’ve killed heimdal, multiple berserkers, and Gna all in less than a minute. I once beat gna in under 30 seconds with this build. I do berserker curias, spiritual gauntlets, and spiritual belt. Hit 3 different runic attacks to summon bifrost, mix in some wrath rage if they try to run. Then when I’m right in their face I use realm shift relic and spam flame whiplash and R2. Absolutely melts healthbars, even on the hardest difficulty.
@@shirishvogga6046 😥Yes unfortunately if you have a job you can't play this. I used to play it some 20min, skip a few days, another go, and it took me months to work through King Hrólf and Gná each. I knew I couldn't beat them but refused to let go of the challenge. One of my motivators was it taught me skills in real combat (if you practise martial arts). To 'let go'; not be greedy with attacks and observe the opponent as opposed to going all in. When NG+ was released (which I only joined now), I quickly realised the whole gameplay was impossible and removed all Burdens to continue. It took me 25hours to complete the story to realise the same with Gná again and all the Berserkers. I have abandoned the challenge since, but I can go again once in a while to see if I'm super bored.
@@oosmanbeekawoo Sure maybe by beating gna u learnt how to beat professional MMA fighters too pherhaps we can try sparring and u can test the knowledge u learnt in a video game and I can test my muscles I developed in a gym and see who wins
@@shirishvogga6046 Haha! I don't have much muscle power and I'd probably submit if you happened to grab me! But technique is also important! There's also a game called Tekken in which techniques are exemplified further! Fighting is a lot in the mind as it is in the body! Baiting, feinting, plenty of stuff I think video games can hold one part of the equation IMO! LOL
This is exactly how I wanna beat her. It's so fun fighting like this. No extreme buffs/assists. This was great to watch. I was a bit disappointed after I beat her. I wanted to do it again but better.
100% agree! It's way more fun just fighting bosses head on without any crazy builds. It's great having those builds as an option, but this is the way for me. I wish the devs added an option to replay the Berserker and Gna fights.
May GNA find her way into the halls of Valhalla, where the brave shall live forever. Nor shall we mourn but rejoice, for those who have died a glorious death.
@@thatonesavage2639 use the stejborn chest armor, surtrs wrist and waist armors, grind and grind in musphelhem trials, use freyas bifrost attacks. Spartan valor because you're gonna need to heal up a lot. Use hilt of farm talisman to boost rage.
She was way more difficult than the Berseker king. The kings movement was a combination all of the Berserkers. Gna's was a bit knew. A lot of unblockable attacks and I just couldn't parry some of her moves fast enough. I finally figured out how to dodge her wing strike/stab attack. Her hell from above moves are faster than any of the berserkers. And even watching this fight, I saw some moves that I never encountered on my battle with her. I'm about to get on new game plus on the hardest difficulty.... so I'll see I guess
When I first fought her, it was the same for me. She seemed insanely overpowered. After countless battles on multiple difficulties. I ascended to a new level.
You can only fight her once you complete the main story. Once you do, just head back to Muspelheim. There will now be an opening in the wall in the main crucible area near where you drop down from shop keeper.
I played 2018 God of War and I thought it was amazing. But then came the Ragnarok and they made a master piece. I believe Sigrun is even more complicated but Ragnarok has more complicated bosses and that make it hell of a game.
How in the world you do the spin like it is part of the regular attack? I know it is a sequence but you do it like me doing the regular combo, any tip?? And this is a great fight man!!!
All it is, is tapping X once while holding the left stick forward and pressing R1 all in quick succession after finishing any other attack. You can kind of see me do it at 2:26 of the video. When you see Kratos do that small dash forward, quickly tap R1 to get out the Whirling Storm attack.
Bruh you motivated to play it again and do the combo you made in this video with the whirlwind, you taught me how to do it so yep I did it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vNhDu66ZOxY.htmlsi=9EWsKl32eHEuWdbN
That move is called Whirling Storm. You can purchase it in Kratos' skill tree. It's done by tapping X once while holding the left stick forward and pressing R1 all in quick succession.
While evading, hold the left stick forward and Press R1 to perform the spinning double slash. You can do it with a full dodge roll, but that's not how I was doing it. I was doing it quickly by tapping X and holding forward on the left stick. You'll see Kratos do a small forward dash. While he's in that animation press R1. You'll have to buy the skill first in the Leviathan Axe skill tree. It's called Whirling Storm. You can do it with the Blades as well.
@@seanbounds2419 She should of dropped it after you defeat her. She doesn't drop the whole set, you just pick up the Cuirass of Zeus. If you forgot to pick it up, it either comes with you automatically and should be in your inventory or you gotta check the blue chest beside the black smith.
This is on GMGOW. The skull/red health bar appears only if you're under leveled. Green - Enemies are beneath your level Yellow - Equal to your level Orange - Enemies are 1 level higher Purple - Enemies are 2 levels higher Red/Skull - Enemies 3 or more levels higher
I don't really have a fancy build for this. Like the title suggests, I'm collecting the Zeus armor. I already have the belt and wrist guards equipped. The chest piece is the Shoulder Guard of Survival (max lvl). I don't exactly remember what I have in terms of enchantments, but they're mostly geared towards high stun and damage.
Defeating Gna gives you the last piece of the Zeus armor set (Cuirass of Zeus). You get the other two pieces by completing the Remnants of Asgard in Vanaheim and Alfheim. The armor set is only available in new game plus.
Once you beat the main story head back to Muspelheim. In the main area, drop down from the shop keeper. Now you’ll see a crevice in the right side wall that you can climb down to a separate arena.
