I've heard no one say it, but if you use any of Atreus' time slowing moves, heimdall actually notices and mocks him for it. That implies that the realm shift isn't actually a game mechanic, and atreus can just slow time.
Yeah I just fought him and used my slow motion ability and he literally talking in slow motion for a second and just says he’s kidding that won’t work here
Yeah it is Heimdall's power. If you notice if you wear the radiance set or any kind of realm shift ability at heimdall's fight with kratos whenever you trigger it, it doesn't work on him.
Yeah Heimdall was a bitch for doing that, but at least he was not a coward he fought Kratos until the light in is eyes left him 🟣👄🟣 easily my favorite character he's boss fight was awesome
@@Profundis. flaunt: “display (something) ostentatiously, especially in order to provoke envy or admiration or to show defiance.” While it certainly was not the display he gave Kratos, by definition, that’s exactly what he did with Atreus
I was literally GUSHING at this “boss” fight. This is exactly the kind of thing I love, an enemy dodging and taunting you. Heimdall is definitely one of my favourite characters in this game
@@legendseeker6944 Baldur also got a really deep cut on his shoulder when Kratos hit him with Leviathan axe and it still healed. Maybe Thor just didn't bother to heal his wounds, or he doesn't have ability to do so?
thor can use the thunderbolts (he can't dodge that) to stunt heimdall so he was probably thinking on doing that and after he stunted him he can do whatever he likes. Thor could even push his hammer through his *ss
First, while I think he's fun to play as, he's nowhere near as fun as kratos, something that I'm guessing that the community agrees with. Second, some of his levels can be kind of played out, more specifically, the one in Jotenheim is just too damn long
@@bonzoluv that's fine, I'm not saying everyone thinks that way, but I feel like kratos still has way more combo potential, which is something that I think the community would prefer, even if he plays the same. Plus (POTENTIAL SPOILERS) the third weapon you get adds another element to kratos's gameplay
12:00 if you notice that when he caught the arrow he didn’t catch it correctly and actually cut his hand. Really subtle foreshadowing that even with his precog abilities it doesn’t mean he’s fast enough to take advantage.
Nope, what happened was that atreus covered the arrow in s*ht so when heimdall grabbed it. That mud jumped into heimdall. The purpose of the scene is the same as you say but heimdall didn't get a cut. He just got poop on his face wich is better
@@johanalejandrocazadordepin7225 Atreus caught onto the fact that Heimdall was toying with him, so he put mud on the arrow before firing at him. He was going to walk away on hearing Thor's approach, but that little smudge got him so upset he was ready to pummel him again. 12:00
10:35 , the way he just walks in to the battlefield and his theme just starts and he starts talking is just soo badass, I literally fell in love with the character As soon as I saw him. He was my favorite villian of the game.
"The enemies which are low leveled for you will have green health bars." "The enemies same as you have yellow health bars" The enemies one level and two level above you will have orange and purple health bars "And thise beyond that will have read" "In this fight Heimdall doesn't have any health bar at all which only shows how he is basically impossible for atreus" so cool
Yeah, this isn't even an actual fight, just Heimdall showing off his power and mocking everything you do. I find some of his lines to be quite hilarious actually.
12:01 Whoa wait if you look closely BEFORE Atreus shot the arrow Heimdall's face is clean but at the exact moment Atreus fired and he caught the arrow, a bit of dirt got to his face and that's why he got mad after laughing. the attention of detail of this game is insane
i really love how atreus really gets his ass kicked, showing that even tho he is very powerful he’s not on the same level as his father and the other heavy hitters of the world
The whole line of Heimdall roasting Atreus was simply a blast. I still despise Heimdall as he’s such a prick (but in a love to hate kind of way) but he made a good observation on Atreus. And he does make a good point.
I swear santa monica needs to give atreus some love. His character and abilities suck, he's the son of the frickin Ghost of Sparta, and couldn't even hit Heimdall. His rage is literally just transforming into a wolf. He should be able to channel the leviathan axe even better than Kratos, and should have overpowered god abilities like Kratos.
This prick is now the benchmark for every other heimdall in any other media from his release forward. Thats how fighting a mind reading God is supposed to happen. Not whatever we got in thor lol.
@@jds8438 You can see Heimdall is a trickful and coward liar with heinous intentions, while Atreus seems to lie for good reasons and only chose to betray the bad guys
