There is a whole conversation Kratos has with Faye in the dream about how he cant keep hiding from his problems and that Atreus is right. But the version you guys are watching cut all of that out.

These stupid gaming content uploaders just want to make money out of the views. they don't want to work hard on the content. just want easy short videos. the problem is all of them cut out some content that others have included. whenever a new game is released, they don't want to enjoy the story of the game. they just rush through it so they can upload it on youtube before anyone else, so they can get the maximum views. this really sucks.

Only thing that sucks about these types of cutscene videos is there's a lot of dialog that's missed between cutscenes. I'm sure some get left it but there's a lot of important stuff getting missed from what I can tell

You guys should try watching another version of the cutscenes. This one seems to cut out the conversations they have while traveling, riding the boat, walking, etc. They add more context and are important to the story.

@@BTBSOUNDS Agreed. Remember "The Riddle" at the end of the game. With all the build-up cut out and just leaving the act, they are not going to understand the whole significance and weight of "The Riddle". Otherwise this will be a dissatisfying and unappreciated reaction for these two with this version from GameClips. They need to switch NOW!!!

I was skeptical of Odin's design when I first saw him but it completely won me over as the game went on. Now it's tough for me to imagine Odin being portrayed any other way.

Whatever video you guys are watching is just cutting out EVERY in game dialogue. I'd reccomend to find another video that respects the narrative more, because those in game diologue is what helps drive the characters and story furthur.

You know what, I may have a video suggestion to help. A RU-vidr named Shirrako has their own version of their Cutscenes and it also includes additional dialogue to complete the story context. PLUS IT'S ROUGHLY 7 HOURS AS WELL, WIN-WIN if I say so myself (Placing it as a standalone comment to make it more visible)

Please, if possible, watch another version of this. There is one of 15 hours and sure, it is very long but it shows more important dialogues between the characters which adds more depth to the story. Without it, you will just have a hollow experience.

Great video guys, been loving your reactions to the series but if possible, try to find a version that includes a bit of gameplay that has dialogue whether walking or on boat. I feel like you’ll get more context on the story of Ragnarok with the characters and situations that take place in the game. Can’t wait to see the other parts keep it up!

one thing I must say is that pls do a Valhalla cutscenes also. It is an amazing DLC which was given to the fans from the producers for free and explains a lot about Kratos's past in Greece. It is amazing with a bunch of new content

Unfortunately, this version is cutting out way too much stuff. There are conversations that happen during normal gameplay that are important to the story (e.g. a pretty significant convo after Kratos fights Atreus as a bear, where they discuss what happened to Fenrir the wolf, there's more info from Brok after the Kratos v Thor fight), the little things really count in this one. maybe try another video like this one (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T77URCcV1SA.html&ab_channel=Gamer%27sLittlePlayground) it's a little longer so more parts will be required

I just start tearing up at any given point, crying when animals die, when exposition is given, and when I watch these reaction videos, it feels like I'm watching emotionally stunted children. I must be too fragile for this world; and the commentary is so prosaic, so dead, I can't fathom how people consider this pablum constitutes genuine humanity.

I feel there are key voice lines missing, lines which don’t happen in the cutscenes… Not truly important but it does have some details of stuff said or happening in the cutscenes which add more context; like the conversation the 3 of them had while crawling under an area, the one about Atreus swearing when they fell🤔… This is the Edit: if by any reason Ya’ll read this part, you should switch the video you watch because there’s normal dialogue crucial to certain points of certain cutscenes, pieces of dialogue that only pop up during certain gameplay sections and this edit you’re watching skips all of that dialogue

Honestly out of all the games in my opinion this game might have my favourite story of the whole franchise so I'm excited to see you guys go through the journey or God Of War Ragnarok. The opening fight between Kratos and Thor is phenomenal and I love how despite the stories of Thor being a brutal and all mighty warrior he appears to be a lot more level headed and somber at least until Odin starts bossing him around. I also love seeing how much Atreus/Loki has grown

The thing is Odin comes in really strong with the negotiations. But he overplays his hand offering to take care of Freya. Everything was almost in line with what Kratos wanted, but he overstepped in trying to take responsibility for someone else's life. That's when Kratos really decided against them. The whole mafia act wasn't worth shit to him till that point.

I love the fight between Kratos and Thor (who, by the way, is considered to be the strongest God in Norse mythology). You see them fight with their weapons, and what's cool is that Kratos's Axe and Thor's Hammer were both made by Sindri and Brok and are both very similar, and powerful, weapons. Both can control an element (Thor's Hammer controlling lightning and Kratos's Axe controlling frost), and both can be summoned (although in this game Thor has to snap his fingers to summon his hammer, but there's nothing wrong with that). And seeing them clash, causing a lightning bolt to freeze in place, was awesome. I started thinking though about Thor summoning his hammer in this game, and even in the marvel movies. Is that something Thor can do in actual Norse mythology? Because I don't think that can be the case, he has had his weapon stolen several times in the myths, and he had to find and retrieve his weapon when that happened, so he couldn't summon it from a far to get it back. And his weapon is really heavy, so how could he just summon his weapon and it fly in the air as if it wasn't very heavy. I mean we are talking about a magical weapon from mythology, but I am still curious if that is the case or not. I know he couldn't fly with it; he actually uses a chariot pulled by two goats to fly everyday (two goats I feel bad for because he made them fly him around, he would then kill them and eat them, then he would use his Hammer to bring them back to life the next day, and that's horrible). But it's fine, these games aren't always going to be accurate, but they are very entertaining and fun to play. One thing I want to mention though, we see Atreus turn into a bear in this game, and what's cool is that in, actual Norse mythology, Loki can turn into animals and humans, and he can change his gender. And these are abilities that Zeus possessed as well (I don't know if he could change his gender though). And in this continuity, Loki (Atreus) is the grandson of Zeus, so maybe he inherited at least those abilities from him. I think that's a cool thought to ponder.

Kratos is 6'4 in this game and Thor is 7'8 so yeah he's tall. Odin in Norse mythology is known to not eat anything but he only drinks mead so him drinking the mead was just because that's what he does.

In the myths, Fenrir and Jormungandr are literally Loki's kids. I think he turned into an animal firs though. Also, Hela is his daughter, unlike in the MCU as Thor's sister.

The story goes that baldur wasn’t suppose to be this insane . Freya inflamed the problem more by making baldur not feel anything . That is not a proper way to live especially if you are immortal .baldur can’t taste food, feel emotions , fall in love . And depending on when he got that spell , as a child or an adult it could be worse . Like Oogway says , people often meet their fate on their journey to avoid it . Freya heard he was gonna die and then caused the thing that made him die , worse she lost time he could have enjoyed with her son because she was selfish

Pretty sure it’s been said a dozen times here but you definitely to pick a better channel to watch GOW Ragnarok. There is dialogue in the game outside the cutscenes that add more context & nuisance to the cutscenes. To Name a Few: •In the memory with Faye, while they’re searching for a sick wolf, she & Kratos have a discussion about responsibilities to help others rather than wait for the problem to fall on your doorstep. •When Kratos goes to search for Atreus, he & Mimir have dialogue about Kratos’s fears of Atreus’s belief in prophecy & Kratos’s fear of what he saw in Joutenhiem. •While Kratos & Atreus are going back home, Kratos mentions he saw Atreus perform magic on Fenrir, it’s a subtle hint of what you’ll see down the road.

Please watch another version, this guy is cutting so much context out! Maybe watch an all dialog video like from Player's Little Playground because inbetween the cutscenes there's so much dialogue that's very important to the story and characters.

whoever did this video should be ashamed, They didnt show any dialogues in the boat/when walking/running/travelling between realms, they add so much to the story, including lore.

I feel like you guys need to figure out some sort of way to watch the story for red dead redemption 2. It's incredibly long might be able to cut like 10 or 15 hours that is just gameplay that doesn't have important story dialogue. It still would be way longer than what your used to. But there's nothing more worth it. It might be the greatest video game story ever. I can guarantee that you'll cry by the end of experiencing it After cutting the non story important bits it might be a bit longer than your mk story reaction series but way more worth it

Whoever made the GOW 2018 video yall reacted to, go back to that person or another video like that cause with the cutscenes alone your gonna miss TONS of stuff. The way you watched the 2018 is the way to go for this game

To expand on my OP yeah you definitely missed some important context. For 2 examples you missed that Mimir convinced Kratos to find Tyr after Kratos said their going home. Another example you missed what the scroll actually was the dwarf wrote. Gotta find another video that will in include the in-game dialog

@@45banshee And another example, they are not going to fully understand "The Riddle" at the end of the game(If you seen the whole game before, you know what I'm talking about without spoiling it) if there is no dialogue that was leading up that point. It is going to be very confusing and will have very little impact at that crucial moment. Contexts matters. Gameclips is just cutting out the build up of the details and just leaving the act which will have a very dissatisfying and underappreciation reaction.

I feel like THIS version is leaving some stuff out. I think Gamers Little Playground has more of the dialogue in it and this version cuts out some extra cutscenes but that one is 15hrs long and it’ll take longer to do. BUT your channel, your choice. I just feel like GLP will be more impactful.

This video from Game Clips is definitely leaving A LOT out! For example, where's the dialogue banter between Atreus and Kratos after escaping Freya and before they reached home? Where's the dialogue between Kratos and Faye before his dream ended? Where's the dialogue between Kratos and Mimir while searching for Atreus? Where's the dialogue between Atreus, Kratos, and Mimir before the cutscene on thier way back home? They are going to be missing a lot of important details carries significant context to the characters and the story.

8:36 baldur wasn't a dick , he was actually a very nice guy , his mother is definitely fully responsible for everything that happened to him, imagine not feeling anything for 100 years , and you mother put it on you and she can undo it but she refuses and you're left to suffer , Why ? @@cs-zz7jd exactly the dialogue answers there questions then here nothing like when Freya gets defeated atreus says sorry I didn't take the shot Kratos says I do not wish you to and says I robbed her of her choice then that makes you realize that Freya is in pain and Kratos accepts that also with durlin when he gives them the find and then they go outside and turns out he did give them what they wanted but they took that out of the video and the girls think that durlin is just an assehole

Hmm seems wherever you are watching from skipped the Fenrir dialogue before Freya's attack. That's too bad. Hopefully they don't skip some of the other "walking" dialogue. They can give lots of context. Oh seems it is skipping all of that. For context when traveling home Atreus says he is sorry he couldnt take the shot on Freya. Kratos responds with "I didn't want you too." Kratos understands Freya and is "fine" with her trying to kill him.
