I chose to play on Give Me God of War (Hardest) difficulty. On November 9, God of War Ragnarok released on the Playstation 5. I gave myself 1 week to get the platinum trophy. This was not a smart decision. Watch me toil through 60 hours of suffering to get one single platinum trophy in the (runner up) Game of the Year.

There were no bad games, true, but there was definitely a mediore one: Ascension. You could definitely tell they made the game after 3 as it sort of just felt thrown together with a half baked multiplayer as well. Still tho, not a bad game, just a bit lacking compared to other titles

funnily enough, I was so enthralled by this game that I went for the platinum purely because I didn't want to stop playing. One of the berserkers took me nearly 2 hours, it was awful and I loved every second of it. I only have a handful of platinums and im proud that's one of them

Got the game with my ps5 bundle and just platinumed it, 2nd plat after spider man miles morales. Man the game is beautiful, the side quests have just as much thought put into them as the story which is crazy to me. Just started ghost of Tsushima, that’s gonna be my third plat and I hope it’s just as good!

This platinum was the first ive ever gotten. It was really easy, just played the game and naturally did every thing on the map as it opened. Only thing i had to clean up after Ragnarok was a few of the more vicious berserkers, some random lore bits i missed, and the trolls and dragon

It actually wasn’t that bad. Hardest part was the berserkers and Gna. I also used stun builds for them. I felt like it was easier than realm shift because they take a chunk of damage so you can do more damage in a shorter amount of time. I feel like an expert on these fights because I created the literal perfect build and perfectly memorized their moves and timing so I only got hit twice in both fights. I wrote an entire essay in another comment section giving tips for these enemies lol

@@djhowell5273 reload a manual save before that if you have one. If not you might just have to restart the game. Doesn’t seem like you’re that far in which makes it better than it could have been. Also if you don’t have manual saved, you should start manually saving regularly. It helps with soft locks

I took 3 months of in between play to get this platinum (Nov-Jan), I played mostly over the Cristmas-New Year's brake and it was a blast. As a completionist I would like to clean everything in one swipe but it is so much better to follow the main story and then worry about side missions and collectibles.

This is definitely one of the easier Platinums I have, mainly because there isn't any achievement tied to difficulty. That and this game was really fun so it didn't feel like a grind going back and exploring old areas to clean them up.

I loved getting the platinum trophy in this game. Although it did not take me 62 hours. I wanna say that I achieved the platinum trophy after 43 hours of game time. I know for a fact it did not take me more than 50 hours. I had the mindset of 100%'ing the game so I was very thorough as I was playing through the story. Nonetheless, a great video and achievement!

One of my easiest plats, I did everything I could before the final mission and wanted to keep playing just to experience the game longer. And then the plat notification popped up and I couldn’t believe I got it just like that! The game was such a joy to play none of it felt like a chore.

It’s funny because I did gna after the king and I thought gna was wayyyy easier than the king 😂. The king just had a lot of stupid bi first attacks at the very end that were really hard to avoid and I kept getting shmacked.

Same bro. Everyone saying gna is harder beat the king for the runic but imo gna was too easy. Maybe it’s because I am a Valkyrie murderer lol but the kings moves were much harder to dodge and he took me hours. The queen took me like 4 tries 20 minutes max.
