To cover possibly the greatest song on one of the greatest pop albums of all-time is a brave thing to do. To do such a good job on it is a testament to those involved in the making of this video. Well done all!
I'm speechless. Just stumbled onto them. Its such a delight to see the younger generation spreading their wings experiencing what real music is. This old hippie still gets flutters hearing great music thats still alive.
I was your 30th like, 6 weeks after you posted this. I am astounded by that. I can't believe you don't have a million views. Absolutely beautiful! I shared it on my FB page but I have < 10 followers. :-(
I've viewed it 50 times myself. I wish I could like it every time. I was around when this song came out way back when but I never kept replaying it back then. great job to all involved.
Well done. Brian Wilson was making magic back then, making sounds that no one had ever heard before. Long before synthesizers he was mixing sounds together - a piano and a guitar to make a piano/guitar etc. Books have been written on the album. The producer of the Rolling Stones even took out a full page ad praising the album, for no other reason than he loved it. The "percussion" in the original version which starts the track is the hitting of the bottom of two orange juice containers to get that tapping sound...
Totally "nail" this! Blown away by this YOUNG group of stellar musicians and singers and their "faithful" version of arguably one of greatest songs of the 20th Century. EVERYTHING from the original is here, including the incredible emotion! Kudos to all on the cinematography, the terrific recording work and perfect mix.
