I think it's like God is the google map and you are the driver of the car. He will give you directions to arrive at your destination, and if you miss a route, God will give you a different way so you can still go to your destination. But if you stubbornly resist the instructions of the google map, and go to the opposite direction then that's on you. Hehe

I think the fact that people ask themselves if they have free will or not, proves you have free will

Your right bro/sis. If for example, let’s say that god are forcing us (only an example), then how does god force one to say i have free will, and forces the other one saying I don’t have free will. Hmmm?? But good example bro/sis

Believing in pre-destination is literally saying that Allah (SWT) is unjust towards creations. This is why I don’t believe in it.

In shia islam, we believe that predestination is 50% and free will is 50%

Not only does Allah(swt) know the outcome, He knows everything (Al-`Aleem) that an individual will go through for He (the almighty) is the sustainer for everything. Alas, what creation does with it's freewill.

“The knowledge of Allah doesn’t make you do it..” but if there’s knowledge about me doing bad ... is the knowledge going change if I decide to do good and if that changes that means that the knowledge is flawed and Allah knowledge can not be flawed.... help??

The comparison with teacher is not good, because as a teacher I did not create the students, I did not determine one will be listening and one will ignore me. Allah did.

The question was not answered. Having knowledge and NOT intervening is fundamentally unjust. If I know a person is going to hurt another person, and I don’t try to prevent it, I’m complicit in hurting that person. God having knowledge of what an evil person is going to do, and letting them do it by not intervening it is fundamentally unjust. Knowledge infers a responsibility.

The question was In reference to your judgment on judgment day. You doing evil , was still your choice.

Allah created us to worship him, he gave us the signs and the tools to help us. now if we are evil and want to listen to the devil and do evil then Allah is not interested in that person and does not deserve his mercy as Allah only wants the best of us that are righteous and obedient. he gave us enough warnings so if we dont listen then it is on us . at the end of the day every bad person deserve punishment.

We could use your point to destroy almost all of the holy attributes of Allah swt : "if He is all seeing why did he just watch the bullet approaching an innocent person's head instead of stopping it" "if he's all hearing then why didn't he take action when he heard the unjust tyrants plotting their schemes" The point of this world is that it's a test, Allah swt will bring everything to justice after the test is over, it's not his job to prevent every single ounce of evil from happening in this world, then where's the test? What is the point of giving someone a test and immediately showing him the answers? Where's the struggles? Will the willingness to act upon injustice be tested for the believers in a utopian world? If Allah swt prevent all injustice and evil from happening in this world, then why not just call this world paradise at this point?

0.06 - 0.34 - If he knew I was going to do bad, WHY DID HE CREATE ME? This is the question. While the rest of the video talks about our ability to do bad, the part of the questions "Why did he create me" is not answered. Is it just of Allah to create tyrants and murders who kills thousands or even millions of innocent people, knowing this person is going to perform these heinous acts before creating them? Of course, I do not assert that Allah is unjust. But I cannot reconcile an all knowing apathetic God. If I saw an old lady crossing the road and I knew that she is going to run over, I would intervene and stop her, but apparently Allah would not. Does that make me better than God? Astagfirullah. Clearly this is a logical fallacy. I'm not saying I have all the answers, only that this is an extremely important question that was not answered in the video. My personal take on this matter is that Allah's knowledge is temporal, he can only know what is knowable in each moment. Knowing someone is going to do good/evil is unknowable at the time of their creation. How about the old lady though?
@trailblazer7108
@trailblazer7108 3 года назад
My assertion of Allah's knowledge being temporal is not a silver bullet, it introduces many problems. For example, we claim the Prophet wept when Imam Hussain was born - these tragic events were unknowable. But I prefer this to be true (that the hadith are false) than the former. Any guidance would be appreciated.
