1) nice shirt 2) this is by far one of my favorite Dax songs. You can tell he was possesed by what can only be described as the Holy Spirit. He hit the nail on the head. Owned the beat too. "Take the gift bestowed (gift of life, gift to reach, to change lives, to get the flock to return to the shepard.. then return the vessel (body to the earth) " The gift of sacrafice . Its really quite beautiful.

I loved that you keept the intro on going over asking to the kids to be quiet. ❤ And I'm still trying to understand a lot of the Dax's bars. haha You should start thinking creating a series where you choose some special songs to go over the lyrics line by line, and reflex and discuss over it, even if the final video goes to an hour, it totally worth, and I would watch every minute. 🙃

Taking the gift of life God has bestowed upon him and giving himself as a vessel to God, i.e. living his life in accordance to God's will for him and not his own will. This can refer to the verse in scripture that asks of Christians to pick up their own cross and follow Jesus.

In the context of the song take this gift is referencing the gift of life and the vessel he is referencing is his body. In short for the gift of life he will give the gift of sacrifice, at least that is my take away. :)

The bible states we need to reduce ourselves so that god can grow in us, and that we are vessels of his holy spirit, so thats what he means by return a vessel, take the gift bestowed and return a vessel for god.

People please listen 👂 I like Dax also but the song is about the truth and times we're living in! We're in the last days and Jesus is coming for those who have a relationship with Him! If you don't have a relationship with Jesus and you die you will go to hell because you died in your sins! Repent and give your life to Jesus He loves you ❤
