I ain't a huge fan of religious music, but Matt. I gotta say, this was amazing. I'm hugely impressed by your singing, and you'll be having me practicing southern gospel to work on my bass singing
Love this video! This guy has got it! Legacy Five is very fortunate to have him! He followed a great bass singer but he didn't fill his shoes. He walked on in his own! As far as I'm concerned he made his own place in gospel music! What a voice! I have the whole cd this came out on. There are some really great songs on it besides this! I recommend everyone take a listen to it!

It's incredibly amazing, how you bring balance between mid or high notes and really deep ones. For me as a quite deep bass (A0-D5 [btw, what's your total range, if I'm allowed to ask]) without much experience in this field of voice usage (I was forced to sing really high, so I haven't sing at all, that's why I am a great drummer and percussionist btw) it's quite interesting and helpful for growing as a musician. I just want to thank you for this and other songs, so I can learn from one of the masters.

Amazing rendition! Now it has me wondering what it would be like to see him doing this with Home Free since they have worked with so many great artists like Mister Fouch. A song like that layered with Adam Chance as bass 1 and Tim as bass 2 while he sings lead in this key, with the rest of the fellas layering in some crazy harmonies would be insane! Still...to date...this is my favorite version of this song. I liked the Cash version but this, with that G1, just feels right!
