I think you will like "Freeze" , "Venom" and "Topline". Plus check out "Heyday" and "3Racha" by 3Racha (the 3 main producers within the group that rap)...if you like rap. Yes, I like your honesty. I think their music will grow on you, because it is a lot to take in on first listening. But the rap they incorperate is top level ...also, check out "I Got It" by Han (one on the Stray kids)...When it comes to RAP (and vocals, lyrics, dance, being funny etc....)...He's got it. Blows my mind how multi talented he is...and the rest of the group!

Kpop in general just grows on you. We're so used to main stream music with the same structure that kpop doesn't make much sense at first. It really takes a while to get used to it and to understand where they come from and what they sing about. With Stray Kids i'd say it's even more difficult because they encompass so many genres, beats, sounds, styles. They have upbeat EDM like Miroh or psytrance like Side Effects, or funky like Backdoor, UK drill like 3racha, boom bap like Muddy Water, pop rock like Time out and so many other. You really need to go through their discography to get a taste of everything and pick your favorites. It took me months to discover them. They do have braggy songs but hey, they really have all the reasons to brag. Fyi, they weren't popular in Korea at first and everyone attacked them for making noise music - their aggressive style is not appreciated by softer kpop fans. So you will find many clapback songs like Thunderous. Since you're a rap fan, i really recomend Muddy Water. For RnB go for Taste. For indie rock style, Red Lights. All 3 are subunit songs.

Again, try EASY. It is my all time favourite. There is also a dance practice for it. Why not watch the MV, then a lyric video followed by the dance practice? That way you can absorb every aspect of the song.

If I started with either s-class or god's menu one, I might not have checked out a second. I saw the maniac reel of Felix and went "woah! Voice!" then "great message". They have two types of songs; basically the great lyics and message and the "we do what we want, deal with it". Both S-class and God's menu fall into the second Their music is all over the place stylistically, from ballads to hard-hitting to deep soulful lyrics. They do all of them well. Cheese and Thunderous are also clap backs Along with maniac for lyrics, you have secret secret, silent cry, Scars, Side Effects, Levanter, Chronosaurus; It seems like half their songs are more meaningful Then you have things like winter falls, Sorry, i love you, ex, and a bunch of other breakup songs/loss Then you have songs like any and awkward silence, get cool that are just fun. I like a lot of their Japanese songs too: Circus, the sound, all in, social path. That is the meaning of God's menu. We do what we want; which is anything, and we're going to experiment and have fun along the way

Hello Isaac, & honestly real STAY appreciate when reactors keep it real & respectful. Everyone's taste is different & we enjoy finding like-minded folks to listen to these tracks with. I know it hard to recommend songs to those new to the K-pop industry, so we have a tendency to throw songs out there & see what sticks. I notice that you bend more toward lyrics & understanding the concept of the music. That will be a little more difficult because of the language barriers but can be overcome. First of all, because of the Unit 3RACHA (three-racha) which is THE Producing team within SKZ consisting of Chan, Changbin, & Han. They were the first members since 3racha were together before SKZ was formed. They were a pre-debut hip-hop rap group & is actually the only 'official' unit of the group. They love wordplay & are masters in lyricism & production. They are the three most credited 4th gen idols in Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) w/Chan being 3rd in the ranking overall with 182 song credits & Changbin - 154 (11th) & Han - 148 (12th) being right after him, though I am sure that those numbers will be rising this year. As of 2023, they are now full members of the association which is a Huge big deal. Check out an early guide called - An In-depth Guide to 3Racha by @Savagekingz1678 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rlJAariq57E.html [w/Stay or on your own]. Just a side note: - There are Korean American Y-Tubers (Its Andy & Jas) that break down the Korean lyrics & help explain the word play meanings that they are so genius with. The Handsome Sausages is another good YT channel for this. If you really want to understand just How brilliantly they can blend both the Korean & English concepts to express & make it sounds so good. You are right when you state that most translation lyrics just 'tell' the words, & with SKZ you Need to Know the meaning to actually understand them. - When you have time, check out S-Class track with Andy & Jas's breakdown.. you may just change your mind on that song. They say that Stray Kids has 'The Song' for everyone & we will be happy to help you find yours [& possible more]. 🖖🏽

Easy has a totally different laid back, swaggy type of vibe. It's my 3rd fav Skz song. Try that one out next. Their discography is pretty diverse. So the scenes in this... Scientists - experimenting w sound Racetrack - racing past the competition Construction- building beats Kitchen - cooking up new tracks The song represents their uniqueness as a group. This song actually created their own genre called mala taste. How no one else is doing what they do and that they have something for everyone.

Absolutely second this. And here's the thing: their discography is so big at this point that there's plenty of rap-focused SKZ songs to listen to. There's also a song called "3RACHA" by 3RACHA that is very rap heavy and it f---ing slaps. B/c remember, their rap subgroup is like 4 dudes and at least 2 of those dudes are a part of the writing/producing subgroup.

With stray kids, they are lyricists. Their songs’s lyrics are deep and meant a lot. It is very important to look at their lyrics. And usually the translations is “decently” translated. But the catch is, you need to learn and understand stray kids more to actually understand the lyrics. Because they usually refer a lot to their surroundings, experiences etc. So if you dont really know much about them, sometimes the lyrics kinda doesnt make sense. U get what I mean? Huhu. Btw, if u like rap, Check out topline, hall of fame, muddy water, and the producing line of stray kids 3racha - 3racha (the song is self titled as 3racha as well)

Thank you for reacting to God’s Menu and I read in a comment that you also listened to Thunderous, I can’t wait to watch your reaction. I still think you will truly enjoy Topline and Megaverse which are Rap focused. Changbin who is the rapper with the deeper aggressive voice starts many of their songs like he did in God’s Menu, Thunderous, and Topline. To see him in action on a MV that is not Stray Kids but a great rap song, please watch Mirror Mirror by F Hero and Milli (both from Thailand) featuring Changbin of Stray Kids, you will be amazed by the rapping. Milli raps in 3 languages, English, Thai and Korean, but for me it’s Changbin that got to me. Thank you. Looking forward to watch Thunderous.

This is where I step in to point out how Stray Kids' members Chan, Changbin, and Han write their own lyrics. These lyrics "allude to" or "hint to" things they want to say without actually directly saying it. Now, hopefully, you can think about the lyrics again, this time knowing that they are alluding to something. (It's kind of like if a person says Netflix and chill... they are alluding to... well, we all know what it really means.) Whoever told you lyrics aren't important might not know the value of Stray Kids' lyrics or the message in every song. It's okay, though. Not everyone does. Some just like the music and don't care about lyrics, and that's okay too. I hope this helps when you watch their videos now. They do it more than you can imagine. 🤣 Just so you know, this song was actually about how their songs and music has many different flavors (styles/genres/beats). They serve up "hot" music. (Starting to get the cooking references now? lol)

Thanks for your reaction, S-Class is not for everyone and it's totally understandable ☺️ especially if you're new to kpop. If you lean more towards rap I recommend listening to: - Maze of memories - Muddy water - EASY - Double Not - District 9 And also listen to their Sub-Unit 3RACHA, they are in charge of the production of Stray Kids and have incredible songs like: - We Go - Heyday - ZONE - 3Racha

lol you saying I pay attention to the lyrics had me nervous. You have to know SKZ to understand the lyrics. They all make sense and are great but the translation doesn’t do it justice and paired with how they write for their fans and themselves they don’t look good. 😂 That is not to say that their lyrics aren’t important because they do have a lot of meaning. I don’t think any of their songs would fully fit your taste. Which is fine so don’t feel pressure to check out more songs. They are my favorite group ❤

thank you for your response...k-pop is really very different from western music...it offers a complete package...visuals, dance, music and lyrics...everything belongs together and only makes sense overall...switching in of songs is completely normal, as is switching from Korean to English in parts of songs, it's not for everyone, but those who don't reject it after the first song are inclined to discover new things, are quickly drawn in and definitely don't regret it...the perception of the lyrics is not for the average music consumer, they don't make sense ...because he can't perceive what is hidden behind them ...the fandom of each group would explain it to you in time...the music of StrayKids and BTS is quite different even from normal Korean music because it offers much more ...if you try to understand you will be captivated ... they have a lot of music whether as a whole group or a rap line or a vocal subgroup ... they have a lot to offer you and definitely everyone will find something that suits them ... much better luck exploring them because there is really a lot and you can't judge them by listening to one or two tracks 😉 😏😏

LOL thanks for the reaction! 😆 And I mean, follow your heart! If you’re not feeling the group, you don’t have to keep at it. But if it’s something you genuinely want to explore (and want them views), then keep checking out more SKZ music (or other koop groups). Sample around their discography and maybe as you get acquainted with their sound and with the kpop genre you’ll like even these songs more on a second listen. Kpop fans generally love newcomers getting into the genre- it’s like we get the rush of excitement from watching reactors discover what we love. If you go into it with an open mind and are honest, they’ll like you. But heads up, if after a few reactions it’s just not growing on you or they think you’re faking excitement they’ll probably drop the channel or even get mad at you in the comments lol And also another heads up, kpop is pretty dorky as a whole 😂 Expect a lot of fun, hype music, and also cutesy stuff. Lots of “I’m the best” songs and love songs. Stuff that you can dance to and vibe to. It’s a spectacle that comes with some cringiness at times and you just gotta roll with it.

I believe that you can’t make an immediate judgment on music. For example I didn’t like Kendrick Lamar when he first came out. But then I listened to his entire album and I was hooked! He’s been on my daily rotation ever since. It’s really just understanding what the artist is doing and once you understand then you will know if it’s something you like or not. But I will definitely keep it honest because what’s the point of faking it for views and end up doing a lot of content that I don’t like. I did check out Thunderous and so far I like it the most.

@@isaacvazquezReacts Totally. I get you. I myself usually need to listen to songs more than once to see how much I like them. Gotta process them. Sometimes it takes months for them to grow on me and there are many popular songs that just aren’t for me 😅 And I like your chill, honest reaction! So didn’t mean to imply you’d fake it or anything like that. Just general observations I’ve seen within the kpop reaction community, since you’re new to kpop, fans can be kinda intense, and I think you asked if you should keep reacting. Like if you’re interested in the group, keep it going for sure and people will watch, but if you’re not interested, then don’t force yourself because of our comments. Anyway! Respectfully, I just don’t think SKZ is ur thing - or anything not American hip-hop or rap. As another hip-hop head, what I respect more than lyrics at times is stylist flow and technical abilities. I just don’t think it interests you to keep doing these reactions. I know Stays like me are trying to convince you otherwise, I am going to recommend that you just move on from SKZ. Regardless of the amount of views I do or don’t get.
