Mr Olivero, with all due respect you’re wrong. When you’re in a hospital because of some kind of sickness and the doctors operate on you and afterwards your admitted to REMISSION. Remission basically means that there is a disappearance of the issue that was causing your sickness. The issue has been CUT OUT in other words. Mr Olivero, that’s the same thing that God does as it is written in col 2:11-13 when the “operation of God” is perform which is basically the CUTTING OUT of “SIN” which is causing humanity the sickness at hand. However, yes you re right because it’s written that by the blood 🩸 of Christ is how we receive remission of sin, but we have to be honest and not reject the fact that it is also written that by baptism one may receive the remission of sin. So which of the 2 gives us remission of sins, the blood 🩸 or the tub🛁 ? Rather the real question is how the process of remission of sin is done! The process is completed and done in during Baptism! Once an individual has obeyed the 4 steps leading to SALVATION as you put it “the loud mouth preacher” mentioned, the final step which is the 5th step is BAPTISM. Once the individual goes through the process of baptism which is the operation of God to remove/cut off the sin in that individual, God at that point applies the blood of Jesus Christ during the process of baptism to remove the sins out that person. Hence, giving them the REMISSION OF SIN, which is also the FORGIVENESS of sin. This is the new circumcision that we are under which is similar to the Old Testament/covenant of circumcision of cutting off the filth of the flesh which was a symbol of cutting off the filth of sin. Now as we are in the NEW TESTAMENT/COVENANT age this process is known as the circumcision made WITHOUT hands 🙌🏾 as it’s mentioned in col 2:11-13. So in essence, the word of God is right which means the LOUD MOUTH PREACHER is LOUD AND RIGHT!
But you will find the thief on the cross praying to Jesus and Jesus saved him. God gave us the ultimate example right there at the cross as to what one must do to be saved. And yes, the thief was under the new covenant bc Jesus died first, proving Jesus promise to the thief to be true. 💖
Wrong three times! First, Jesus was alive when he forgave the theif. Jesus forgave several people when he walked the earth. You however are not on the earth with Jesus. Second, people are saved because of the New Covenent but it did not come into effect til after His death AND resurection, 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, Third, EVERYONE aftrer His resurection was told to believe and be baptized in water to be saved. Not any man mediator that performs a ceremony of dunking one in water to remove my sins. Jesus did that at the cross. My sins were nailed to the cross with Christ! Acts 8:35-38...Phillip opened his mouth and preached the gospel....no mention of baptism in that either....UNTIL one verse later the eunuch said, "Look, water....what is stopping me from being baptized?"
