The Imperial Russian anthem, "God save the Tsar", is the most beautiful ever written. Long live Russia and God bless the Holy Imperial Family!!! Russia should restore the Monarchy without delay.
Samijan Geni i hope so. Tsar nikolaj was sworn in as emperor after the last king died, he never wanted it. He has to learn really fast, while being the emperor. His son was bleeding internally and sleeping all day. His country was becoming atheist. He himself, fought in ww1, and survived. He could have won the war, but something called communist rats existed and caused a war in his own country. Then he and his family were all executed for being Christian royalty. You need to give him a break.
A people went astray while their Tsar lingered helplessly ignorant in the past. A very Christian father and mother sacrificed along with their beloved children for no human reason. God's plan is beyond my eyes. God Save the Tsar.
I do. They are not monks. None of them. They are professional singers, exept Georgian deacon, who sings in songs in Georgian language. They have a blessing to wear those robes during monastery God-services and on the stage.
Es reconfortante la reivindicacion de la monarquía por el pueblo ruso que ha vuelto a la senda de la verdadera Fe, luego de setenta años de esa enfermedad ideológica que fue el marxismo ateo.
Heck, on that topic, it's even better than the current Russian anthem (both the Soviet Anthem and the Russian Federation Anthem share the same melody). This melody and the lyrics are just far more solemn.
Oh, how I wish I was Byzantine Catholic again (I know, I know, this was Orthodox, but hey, still from the Eastern Church). I keep forgetting just how wonderful celebrating a cappella liturgies were, and how wonderful the services were. I just wonder how the Bolsheviks could have been so cold-hearted to not like this.
@@ivanderui9586 they only offered religius services and nothing more the problem was that they were able to think by themselves and that was a problem for commie diptatorship
God bless the "present" Rome , which is pointing the way, and standing strong on Christ's firm foyndation. The other previous Romes have fallen already. God Save Russia and the Russian People. " Slava Rossi".
@lolajl I did say Greek Orthodox, not all Orthodox. I can't begin to comprehend all of the wonderful diversity of Orthodoxy, but perhaps you should read what is written before responding
@222mozart Не понял, о какой исторической шутке Вы говорите. Эта "песня", как Вы изволили выразиться, гимн Российского государства, существовавший до 1917 года.
@lionhasalreadybe One problem. The Anglican Church is already in communion with the Greek Orthodox Church. Hopefully the Russians would be OK with that. Not sure how the Romans would be...
No, I don't think that Russia should re-establish a monarchy, but this is a beautiful tune. The lyrics to "God The Omnipotent" are beautiful, with an appeal to peace.
Tell that to the peasants and non-Russians experiencing horrendous soul crushing poverty. Not that the Communists did much better, but hey, that's Russia for you. Lot's of noise, little movement.
Over the thirty to forty years prior to the first World War Russia had made enormous strides, it was upon that foundation that the USSR was able to do what they did do.
