Which VR games would you add to the list, based on the God Tier criteria? That video featuring a VR Motion Rig where I play GT7 on PSVR2 --> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xyn1E11pJqY.html
You absolutely nailed this one. Usually when I see list videos like this, there are some I think didn't belong on the list, or that were left out. Not this time. You got it, spot on. Well done.
"Assetto Corsa" Original (PC) released in 2013 got a VR mode a few years latter, it's one of the best Race Sim games ever made, even compared with today's standards, thanks to the huge MODs community, "Project Cars 2" also, released in 2017 got VR mode at launch, another great Race Sim at the time. "Dirt Rally 2" also with amazing graphics and great VR Mode, released on 2019
@@tomc1380 Yep, for me also, I play AC VR in my nice PC with Quest 3 more than any other game, and I've started with Quest 2, then Pico 4, then Quest Pro and now Quest 3.
There's a game that I don't think gets enough credit for innovation, and that's Eye of the Temple. The movement system in that game is unlike any other and stepping from one moving platform to another gave me some butterflies in my stomach that hadn't felt since my early VR experiences. Since I first played, I haven't been able to figure out why more people aren't talking about it.
I actually REALLY wanted to add those games to the list, but wanted to keep the video more manageable to watch, and also wanted more people to add their own god tier games :) thanks!
i think contractors VR with its body mechanics (full body in VR), simulation of a collection of weapons, and ability to customize maps of all kinds, as well as its amazing use of bhaptics hardware - is a god tier title.
Starting The Walking Dead Saints And Sinners after trying it a few times in the past but always ended up playing something else instead. Been holding off on trying Wanderer since there's a sort of remaster or something with Fragments Of Fate coming later this year. Also i had no idea Lone Echo 2 released that long ago, i'll add it to my list. Really good list of games there with lots of variety, nice work.
Great list! But you forgot to mention Vertigo 2. It is a shame how underrated this game is, specially being the work of a single dev. The amount of cool experiences it provides during it's (at least) 8h story driven campaign is next level and all done for VR from ground up
Lone Echo was so good I ended up playing it on an under spec'd PC. Low frame rates, low details etc and it was still an forgettable and amazing experience. Hope it gets ported to standalone ❤
Those are all incredible games! Just shows how far VR has come and where it is going. Personally, I think sports games have exponential gotten better where u can feel that u are actually playing professional sports!
I don't understand why there aren't MORE AAA titles converted to VR. My go to games include Skyrim VR, Fallout 4 VR, Cyberpunk 2077. These are all great games made even better by VR. I can't fathom that the conversion costs that much and you can usually sell the game all over again.
Lone echo is still so pretty. It's really an amazing looking game/experience. And yes beatsaber is great but I love synth riders. Synth Riders is actually 1 week older then beatsaber. Nice video
True! There are definitely 2 camps - camp Beat Saber and Camp Synth Riders. They're both awesome and different enough to enjoy them side my side though. Still I Do think that Beat Saber made a bigger impact on the industry and the formation of rhythm based games than Synth Riders, which is the only reason I chose BS to include in this vid.
@@DiscoVRTetiana that I completely understand. Beatsaber is still super popular and still gets a ton of views on streams and content. I play every rythmgame I just love it

You should try Assetto Corsa Competizione in VR with your simracing rig.
I own several of the games on this list, a Quest 3 and a powerful PCVR capable rig but I've yet to complete any of them. Case of gaming ADHD frankly. However, I'm now about halfway through Half-Life Alyx and challenging myself to complete this year as it really is a fantastic game. Great list!
Totally agree with this list. I believe immersion and comfort is key for a great vr experience. Half Life Alyx will always, for now, be the standard. I totally prefer floating hands instead of having a full body if done right. Why do I need to see my whole body if my arms and legs are twisting and backwards 😅. But floating hands should never go through the walls in the environment. And teleporting and snap turning should always be a choice, not mandatory. Half Life Alyx provides all these options. Very good video 😁
Well I do not have a Play Station or a PSVR headset, but I do have several of these games on STEAM PCVR with using my Quest 3. A couple of "game series" not mentioned which have great graphics and work with VR are the Half Life 2 series and Metro Exodus series. The graphics in both these games are really outstanding. You talk about Gran Turismo 7 for the Play Station. I have several great PCVR SIM racing games for the PC. The VR graphics in all these PC racing games are outstanding and fun to race on, either single player or online competition. Thanks for the video. Take care.
My problem with No Man's Sky in VR is that the controls are so different in regular mode, that having to relean it in VR is too much for my old brain. But Half-Life Alyx truly rocks. And I will need to try Cyberpunk -- that looks neato.
For the longest time I completely avoided the Half Life series and Alyx. A few months ago I joined in and it’s been amazing. Some of the best VR and PC games I’ve played.
Great video, I did only get into the vr universe like 2 years ago. I will definetly try some older titles on this list, that went under my radar. I would 100% add into the radius to the list.
I have my pennies saved for a Quest 3 for Xmas. I have been watching all this Yourtubers videos to get some tips and guidance on what games and accessories to get. Saved this vid as a bookmark to come back and get the games. Cant wait.
Are you going for the 128 or 512gb model? Anyway, as far as accessories go, I'll give you a quick list of what I've bought for my Q3, some of which I would say are almost essential. It's a lot to consider and hence a lot of extra money so items so anything I'd consider essential, I'll mark with an "***" 1. *** Firstly and most importantly: Replacement rigid headstrap with battery pack. The standard headstrap you get with the Q3 sucks. Lucky for you by Xmas, you'll have loads of options to choose from now. Mine is OK but I bought it quite early after the Q3 was released last Oct, so you'll likely have better options now. It's a case of comfort and also extended battery life equaling to more play time. You'll get about 2 hours max with your internal Q3 battery when playing intensive games. 2. *** Face cover that goes over the existing soft fabric face plate. Why is this so important? You'll sweat with some games which will soak right into the fabric covered soft face pad. Then you'll let others use it and it will get covered in makeup, grease and their sweat. I have a soft silicone cover that slips over the top and fits snugly. It also blocks out some of the light by my nose. Far easier to clean and replace. 3. Carry case. Keep your Q3 dust free and well protected. 4. Soft, padded lens protector. When I'm not using mine, I slip this in before putting it in the carry case. That way, the controllers or any other object are less likely to scratch the lenses. If that happens, it will get emotional. 5. Hand grips with straps. They slip over the top of the controllers with a strap wrapping around the back of your hands. I've found these really useful. I can open my grip fully and the controller isn't going anywhere. The last thing you want to do is launch your controller across the room. 6. VR mat. Whether or not you need this depends on your physical environment and how much space you've got. I've found it quite useful. There are digital guardians and barriers you can set up within the Q3 but the VR mat has added an extra safety net. Meta also removed an important safety feature in March which is bonkers. I'll go into more detail if you wish with this topic. 7. Q3 cover. It's not essential really but mine came with the hand straps. It just helps to prevent any superficial scratches and makes it look nice, I suppose. Loads of options available. Some folks buy charging docks and place their controllers and headset in all the time when not in use. I've never felt the need. I use 2 separate chargers, 1 for the main headset and 1 for the headstrap with battery pack. When it's not charging, it's back in the case. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions. Games are a whole new topic and very subjective! I can tell you what I've played so far but dedicated VR channels like this one are great for guiding you on the right path and picking out what might suit you.
@@edturner9670 Thank you, thats so kind of you. That was my first big decision and I am going for the 512gb model. I have had a look at a few straps and thought the Bobno one with the aircooler might be the winner? I never even give thought to the other stuff. I do have a PC I built myself so I bought a cable to connect the headset as well as to the power socket at the same time. That sas far as I have got.
@stevie8718 No worries, glad to be of some help. I think you're wise to go with the 512gb model if your budget can stretch that far. To be honest, I think the Q3 should have come with a minimum of 256gb. I think Meta made a bit of a misstep with that decision. Once you buy a game, you can always uninstall and reinstall it at no extra expense if you're finding yourself running out of space. I'd rather not go through that hassle. I'm glad I went with the 512gb option as mine would have already been filled to capacity with the 128gb model by now. The Q3 OS and other software before you've installed 1 single game takes up about 30gb. Asgard's Wrath 2 takes up about 33gb. In PC gaming terms, that's not a massive amount but it is in standalone VR terms. I think we'll see more and more similar sized game files in the future. As far as headstraps go, I've heard really good things about Bobo and Kiwi. Unfortunately, when I got my Q3, those manufacturers hadn't released the Q3 editions of their headstraps. I waited a while but the standard headstrap was unbearable so I couldn't wait any longer, and just took a chance with a more obscure brand, namely a "Newzerol" elite type strap with 8000mAH battery. It's been OK so far. Some people prefer the "halo" design of the Bobo style headstrap which takes the pressure more of the front of the face. I've personally not tried that style. You'll notice that quite a few big RU-vid VR channels seem to use that option. Kiwi uses an 'elite' style strap. Some say that style is better for more active and dynamic games which involve a lot of head movement. Hope this helps. 👍

How about seven eleven table tennis? It's a game made entirely for VR. Has incredible physic and feel much more realistic compare to any other table tennis VR game out there.
It almost made the list, but the initial setup process and controllers can be quite difficult, not new user friendly- the only reason I removed it in favor of No Man’s Sky
Great list, glad you got some great PSVR2 games in there too. But personally I think Asgards wrath 2 is a massive downgrade from the original. Obviously being limited to mobile chip set is a drawback. But I loved the original and I just have not got in to the 2nd one after trying so many times.
if graphics is all you care about then sure Asgard's Wrath 2 is a "downgrade". guess which game is the Open World one with, better combat with skill trees for yourself and companions, has mounts and 100+ hours gameplay. it's not Asgard's Wrath 1.
@@ilikestuff8218 Yes graphics are a big part of immersion. But even still i've tried so many times with AW2, and it has still not hooked me in. There are many games without great graphics I love, lies beneath for example. I find the open world is just big open planes until you find something happening. So its not just the Graphics, I just don't find the characters interesting, the combat is ok, I don't finds the story gripping enough and I prefer the Norse setting or AW1 rather than the open deserts of Egypt. I find the open world is very spare & just big open planes until you find something happening, Better more limited with more detail, like god of war is.. Just my opinion and I realise many people don't share it.
This is a great video, but was your script written by ChatGPT? Secondly, Asgard's Wrath 2 was deemed a monumental visual and gameplay downgrade by the community, irrespective of a single IGN review.
this is great...love the list in order of release, to emphasize their influences...looking forward to the video. I wonder where Prey fits on the list...its moon crash was an amazing addition to the universe, especially since the company behind the IP has been decimated by MS, and we'll never see another...but not sure how the VR for that game was considered by the community. I dabble in VR, but waiting for the perfect, no compromise headset before I truly feel like I'm able to be at one with the tech. I wish Pimax could just take the PSVR2 design and slap their tech in there...the best of all worlds...but until then I'm just going to have to hope the only compromise I'll need to make with the next gen crystal, when it releases, inevitably will be the weight and comfort. But, will love being able to play UEVR games and see crystal clear off into the distance...distance resolution is really hard for games that weren't designed originally for VR.
Yes it is good and worth playing. It’s not your typical sandbox AC and only takes 20hrs. Surprisingly the controls are smooth with the free running, and using the hidden blade is fun.
