I tried online dating and seemingly the guy I found there was God given, despite the distance he was there to help me spiritually, emotionally and financially. We are now talking about the future and both pray that God will bless our relationship each and every day.

That was cool. I like that and I think There's a lot of wisdom in it. For me it was to get on a plane and go to Phillipines. I've been there 3 times and now I am now in a relationship with an absolutely wonderful woman. She is an total angel. The great thing is that we really suit each other. I've never been in a relationship where there was no fighting and stress. It's heaven. I'm working hard to get the money now to fly her back to South Africa where I live
I can’t find myself romantically interested in a younger man although I have a lot of them pursuing me. However, these older men keep disappointing me with their disrespect. Dear God, please open my mind. Maybe a younger man is the right one for me. Open my heart and mind to see them as a good choice.
a. Don't tolerate disrespect. People treat you the way you teach them to treat you. b. Perhaps you're not initially interested in someone, but your feelings could change if you got to know him? You can't force feelings, but they aren't instantaneous either. c. Keep an open mind- this doesn't mean to settle, or to lower your standards. It just means that there may be something you would love, that you just haven't thought of yet. Christians SHOULD marry other Christians, but maybe your soulmate is from another country, or they're another race? There is nothing the matter with that, if it makes you happy. God wants us to be happy.

This is crazy. That thing I haven't tried since 2017 is cold approaching. Been rejected so many times by it that I totally gave it up and I've had way more success on dating apps. Now I've deleted all my dating apps and am spiritually led back to in person interaction. The problem is that I'm terrified of it now and keep praying for God to go before me like a consuming fire 🔥

My boyfriend and I recently broke up after a 3-year long distance relationship. I can honestly say that we did not have a Christian relationship and I knew that God was never going to bless it so I have turned my life around I have gotten back into church and fellowship and reading my Bible and I'm trying to encourage my ex to do the same but he's not really wanting to talk to me right now so how can I get him to join me in the same place if he won't communicate with? I pray and he will be open to talking again so we can start our relationship over and do it right this time.

Mark, this series is fantastic, and I'm so grateful. I hope it's not inappropriate to ask, but I need wisdom about something, and wonder if you have a video in your series that addresses this. I'm living in the wrong town, in the wrong career, and in a very toxic town and job situation. How do you know if God is telling you to move? Or change careers? My talents are going to waste, and it makes me sad. I'm sad and disappointed that I may be destined for singleness, but I can't handle unfulfillment- it's heartbreaking. God created me for more than this life. If anyone can share wisdom, thank you.
We don't know the future, but I would say if you don't want to be single you should actively pursue marriage in God's timing and leading. The results, however, are not promised. But biblically someone should only try to remain single if they want to be single. Desire is a big part of it as expressed in 1 Corinthians 7
This is something I also struggle with… if God doesn’t allow marriage even if a person strongly desires it, what does that mean? Does that mean a) that person has sinned too much to receive the marital blessings, b) didn’t pursue enough, and c) or maybe even missed out on “the one” they were supposed to marry?@@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger

Mark I'm really scared because a Holy Spirit filled person prophesied that if I marry I will be in a situation from where Jesus Christ Himself will have to rescue me. Can I avoid marriage even if it's God's will for my life? There are generational curses in my family. God is also punishing me for the sins of my ancestors. People hate me and curse me and damage my prospects even when I don't deserve it. I am a person who has recieved salvation 😢.
God will never punishing you. He loves you so much and He don't want to hurt you. Keep praying and focusing on Him so the guidance, the truth and the life you need will prevail.✨
If you are first generation believer then you need to break the past gen curses. Pray and fast break the chain. Only Jesus blood has that power and no one on this earth.
I would encourage you to take that prophesy to the Lord and test the spirits. Not every prophet is from the Lord, and no word of knowledge would instill fear. We break every word curse now in the name of Jesus! As well, Jesus would not punish you for the sins of others. He does not make you earn your way to the freedom you're seeking. Trust in the Lord!
It's possible for people to have the Holy Spirit yet to allow evil spirits to speak through them. This is why we need to guard our hearts, tests the spirits in light of the Word of God. The Bible states the God loves you, is always FOR you and never against you because you have become His child by accepting Christ in faith. You are not cursed anymore but BLESSED AND FAVOURED. You can believe that what you ask in God's will has already been given to you and you will see it accomplished. So now don't accept curses over your life, do not tolerate what comes against the Word of God. You are not punished and you are walking in God's plan for your life. Be faithful to His voice and not the liar's. I recommend reading from Colossians, and listenings to teachings from Andrew Wommack "you already have it", "a better way to pray" and Curry Blake on the New Man Identity in Christ. I hope this isn't inappropriate to ask, but I need some wisdom. I'm in a career that's wrong for me. I can't stand my life and I cry myself to sleep because I hate my job so much. I want to do something fulfilling, something that's meaningful to me. Mark, do you have any videos pertaining to this? If marriage isn't in the cards, I can accept that, but I feel so unfulfilled because there's no passion and my talents go to waste every day, and it breaks my heart.
I've been praying about my boss's boss, hoping to get out from under her jurisdiction by switching departments to pursue her. I've even prayed for specific signs that have been delivered. But now I overheard something this morning that she might've just gone on a date. I don't know what to do, I am scared to ask her about it as I'm still her subordinate, but the other department I want to move to isn't hiring until summer. I'm 24 and autistic, and she's 30.
Sometimes you have to take chances. You don't get many chances at happiness, and sometimes that requires risk. Nothing wrong with the autistic thing... you deserve happiness, too. I would go for it, you are both adults. Just find out what she's into, and ask her to hang out. I don't think that constitutes harrassment. If she says no, just say no problem. If she says yes, wel... congrats. Best of luck. Honestly? A job is important, but it's not what defines you. Your happiness matters, too.

@nicholastenhoff2578 If it's against Company policy to date you in your current position at work then you should not pursue. It will be looked at as inappropriate. It's best that you are friendly and move to the other role only if you actually want to. Moving just so you have the possibility to date her is not wise in my opinion. Pray & ask God what to do. Ask him to give you wisdom in every situation in life.
I have seen the one but I'm so broke to date her! I never had any inkling to date anyone until I become financially stable, however, this lady beckons to me in a magical way. I have never had that kind of affinity towards any lady. There's a strong conviction in my heart and I feel frustrated and depressed that I cannot make a move now. I don't know why God is doing this me upon all that I have to serve Him.

This is how you get your ex back try my tips here. First of all believe Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day to save you for your sins. Believe Jesus was born of a virgin Mary and that Jesus is the son of God. That God miraculously gave her Jesus. Not by s-x. Then have faith that Jesus can bring your ex back and that he will. Mark you advised in this video not to go into marriage with a me centred attitude. But I have seen in real life that those who marry for their own personal happiness actually get what they want because they know what to get and how to get it. They are the happiest. As for honouring the Lord together as a couple in marriage .... Well. .... Personally I feel that is a great myth. I am yet to see even so called Spiritual Christians want to honour the Lord in marriage. People who want to honour the Lord in marriage actually are motivated to seek God 's worldly blessings. Nothing wrong with that. But people wanting to marry to honour the Lord is an idealistic perfectionist and an unrealistic perception of marriage. I am yet to come across even so called Spiritual Christians who are married with that kind of motivation.
I didn't marry for my personal happiness. I was happy being single. When I realized it was God's Will for me to marry, I felt like it was a sacrifice. I'm glad I obeyed, though, because, as always, there are rich blessings in the place God wants us to be. Sure, most Christians form an attachment, and that is what fuels their marriage decision, not following their Lord but that doesn't mean that Kingdom centered choices are a myth.

I am not obligated to co-operate or remain in a dissatisfactory marriage. If my life partner is deliberately irresponsible then that person will one day have to give an accounting to God even if saved.

It was his example. He said its possible if you never tried dating sites before you can try it (like what he said, try something new) and your person might be there. Like what you said, there are many narcissists in dating sites but the possibility that your spouse is there, or if you keep trying dating sites and still haven't found a match maybe you should go out more.
Pursuing marriage is not wrong. Pursuing a man is wrong. You can pursue a relationship by being inviting towards a man in a feminine way. The book of Ruth is a good example of this. There is no one set formula. If you feel online dating is not for you, it's not for you. But it's not wrong for a woman to be more proactive so long as she is still being feminine and not leading.

Speaking as someone who has been given the grace to study theology , I just have a question for you my sister..What makes you think that you narcissist only exist on dating sites ? How do you know that a man pursuing you in church will turnout not to be a narcissist in 5 years time? I have come to believe that if God's Word is guiding you, then you are in a better position to know what a godly person following Christ look like...Be careful, of connecting godliness with things that we are familiar with... Some women were married to pastors , later to realize they married narcissists..Thanks Mark for encouraging people to try out stuff that is outside what they are used to...As a 34 year single woman, I am not afraid to try out online dating.
